Ya, although I will say there are multiple girls in that new game they are working on that look really good. Mikayla definitely caught my eye in that one.

Yeah, they aren't bad, just not sure they'll catch my imagination like Jaye did. One of the downsides to something so story driven is that I could of hapily had another dozen Jaye sex scenes.

The render quality certainly keeps getting better in the game, if only in small increments per chapter. But promo renders are always going to be a touch above because the artists spend extra time to make them stand out. Even still, I've thought the last couple chapters the art was outstanding.Holy shit, i havent played this game since a long time waiting for completion the quality wasn't this good when i played it, but is this the quality of the renders i can expect from the game now?

Tanaka is one of the few girls I really hope somehow gets an epilogue scene. Forgoing her restaurant opening just to see Alex (MC) in hospital was a touching gesture.
Why the tag completed if it's not? Chapter 10 is the epilogue and the end of the game, not 9. I'm a little annoyed because I usually wait to play these games only when they are completed since they are usually long and mainly story-focused. It's like reading a book and then finding out there are missing pages...
Well technically the story has ended, the epilogue is, by definition, information about what has happened to characters in the aftermath of the main story. Most of the things are already predictable since you had to make some choices regarding all the caracters in the game, but I get your point and to often devs simply leave plot elements unfinished or without answer

It's been covered many many times already, but it's just poor wording and poor interpretation of wording (and then a bit of stubbornness) that's led to the "completed" tag on the thread. The game isn't yet complete, the main story may be "finished", but the epilogue is not something superfluous to that. If a book has an epilogue, you don't stop reading the page before it, the epilogue is part of the story, it's the "happy ever after" or equivalent. And it's definitely not contained in a separate volume, it's right there at the end of the book, looking for all intents and purposes like any another chapter. The epilogue is there to (hopefully) bring closure to the story, whether we have choices to make in it or not.

While not without flaws, and abundant frustrations, I find Chasing Sunsets to be the cleverest, most varied, best written, and most of all, far above the level of art and most visually appealing of any Renpy I've seen.
The team deserves our kudos and appreciation ... not carping and whining ... and while always impatient, I'm willing to wait for the worthwhile fixes and updates.

No, it isn't. I've reported the thread twice, mods stance is it came out of early access so therefore, according to them/F95 site rules...it is completed. The devs never said it was completed.

They do explain a bit about it in the Game Uploading Rules. I guess the consider epilogue updates to be "patches & post-release content".
I mean I guess it kind of makes sense since technically there's really no limitations on how much post-release content a dev can put out for a game. If the final chapter of the main story arc has already been published, then easier to just leave the Completed tag there and then let the dev add whatever additional content they want over time. Epilogues, endings for break out characters, etc... could all count as "post-release".
Same thing is happening in Shale Hill Secrets as the dev has been adding epilogue endings for each of the girls over several additional updates.
