If it ruins your perception of the character, the damage is done. When Mallory proposes Amanda and seems to reluctantly accept your choice to exclude her (and up to that point there was nothing to foreshadow that there was a "special" relationship between the girls) , the fact that you were able to say no does not solve every problem.
Okay, just finished, and I was on the open/throuple path, but Mallory ended it after the big date day. Is that the only way it can play out, or is there a way to get a better result? Like, if that's the story, it's the story.
No, if you are in an open relationship Mallory will always walk away. Jaye might also if your love points aren't high enough. IMO to get the best result make monogamous saves for both girls. You can get a "polyamorous" route by fully commiting to Jaye and dumping Mallory, but its weird and I wouldn't recommend it right now. Perhaps when we get the epilogues, hopefully some time this year.

While I agree with you and I would have loved to have seen more of those characters. They were never going to play a major role in the game, they were only side characters. We will hopefully see plenty more of them in their next game Firebreak, where Tara as far as I'm aware becomes one of the main love interests.
I agree with him, imo seeing the reactions of the people around the MC and his LI about their relationship development/status is a vital part in AVNs imo. It helps to make AVN's more immersive instead of feeling like youre playing a guy in a small bubble without any connections to the outside world.
I agree with the first part about Tara, it felt like they were all going to hang out and maybe even fool around a bit? This is what most players were hoping for and wanted to see and that is important, it felt like it was cut from the game.
I played roughly the same path and Lisa actually heavily hinted that she'd want to get more serious with the MC. The MC wasn't very enthusiastic about that though. And yes, how that works with her being a MG in Firebreak is anyone's guess.
The guy in the post credit scene with Fiona is Christian. Who is apparently asexual, so no I seriously doubt he's the protagonist of Firebreak. It was a weird scene and the developers attempt at humor, which didn't work IMO
Fix? If you're asking about the last bar scene variable flip so that both Mallory and Jaye show up on the "both open" path, no, it has not been fixed, yet. However, both Mallory and Jaye's end stats show both love the MC enough to explore a polyamorous relationship and preceding scenes/convos indicate both are on board, neither has broken up with the MC.
Among those missing in action you forgot the bartender/driver, whom we are still waiting to see again.
And who randomly has relationship stats in the game. No idea if there was an intended point to that, but either it never came to anything, or it was so small that it just flew by.
What has Jaye's partents being dead to do with her being a Nepo baby? She would probably be even more of an nepo if they would be still alive. Again, it wasnt her fault and the Presidant was a asshole but it gave me a strange taste. I would have prefered her applying at the new university on her own at least but we needed a white knight moment of the mc i guess.

Huh? For what I searched before scrappy only made a mod in early stage of the game and fast abandoned it. Unless I'm searching wrong.
This works like this with nothing but the game installed and with mod currently in 1st post that i didn't find any mention of it breaking gallery (confirmed with gallery not working in clean install).
