I'm trying something new for Chemical Travel, but I don't know... In the poll my patrons don't seems so entusiastic.
If that is RPGMV I personally sort of like Rpg gamemaker games if they are done right I very much enjoy the feeling one can get from moving about in and RPG_game maker game. Giving depth and dimension to the game, and a sense of order to the environment.

If done right it can add to the story.

One I can think of that has done a good job with it is "The Office Wife" the maps are simple easy to understand, and for me they just work with that game.

But I have seen really confusing map's and aggravating as hell maps also made with RPG_game maker.

It is a mixed bag, some will find it adds to the story, while others will feel or find it is to frustrating.

Glad to see you're moving forward on your game making, I have truly enjoyed your last game, so look forward to this one as well.

The art system you're using is fine for me, I have quite and imagination, and suggestive visual's are normally all I need to kindle my imagination. I found your animations and visual's more than adequate for my fantasy enjoyment.

- Over 240 new shoots.
- 7 new Gif.
- 2 new very long scenes (beach/karaoke)
Warning: last time in hurry I didn't remeber to write the definition of one choice.
Now I added the right string.
So to not bug the game please use a save before the choice:
"Go to street 21th / Go to the photographer"

Avilable from tomorrow (uploading) on my patreon and free for all in some days.

That gameplay style is somehow rarely well used.
If all you are going to use the RPGM engine for is connecting scenes together - which is what most seem to do - then piloting your little avatar around a map gets old very fast. Hence, all those Ren'Py conversions of RPGM games that cut out the tedious wandering around a map.

RPGM tends to work best when the wandering isn't tedious: when there are multiple interesting encounters as you travel around the map. Which in turn usually requires some interesting way to interact with these encounters. A combat system or a sex system or a sex combat system or something. And it needs to be fun.

And that's a lot of work.

Under no circumstances should anyone trying to make a game use RPGM as just a scene connector. It makes the game incredibly boring.

Well CT will be my first try, so don't have too high expectations...
Rpgm mv require a very large sum of time than renpy...
If I want to show you something, I have to do some compromises...
At start you will no have the combat part (Because I want it to be the rape part and after that CT cant stay in patreon anymore).
I'm doing a very very short intro that give you an hint to how to progress the game (when ready).

What's really weird is games like Cohabitation, that make RPGM pretend it's renpy. No avatar, no map, just scenes connected with menus. Why make a game like that in RPGM? Did renpy not exist when the author started or something?

You are perfectly right, I make "fantasy" games that have about nothing to do with reality, so I don't develop the characters in a normal way... well to be onest sometimes I don't develop them at all: 80pct of the game its simply an incipit to show porn-erotic content.
Thank you for your impressions!

Wonderful response, I respect that you know what you do and that you're comfortable with that.

That said, I actually think there is some decent writing in this. The main character is someone who I assume grew up and grew old in the shrine when there were more staff around to keep things pure, so she may not have any previous (sexual) life experience at all. I found a couple of places in the game where you managed to convey both her naivete and senior citizen "believe the best in people" effectively.

I think you've done a good job so far and while the blue hair (pubes especially) is a bit off-putting, I think the MC is sexy as hell and I want to see more of her.

Lastly, that pose on the couch in karaoke is total fire, I loved it!

here is my unofficial android port of Chemical Regression v0.5.

from now on my android ports of Ren'Py games have a 2nd, persistent save location like windows. if you uninstall an app, the save files and persistent data remain intact.
therefore the app needs the permission to access the public external storage (or a new one on Android 11 ), because it has to read and write outside its own external storage directories.
you have to grant the permission or the app is shut down.

have fun and please report problems (you can reach me ).

I love the karoake scene from 0.04. Such a hot pose when she's sprawled out and they're both all over her.

Looking forward to the next visit.

If the game was called "Young again" I wouldn't look at it, but its about chemistry. Since its about science, im gonna try it for science purposes.
