If that is RPGMV I personally sort of like Rpg gamemaker games if they are done right I very much enjoy the feeling one can get from moving about in and RPG_game maker game. Giving depth and dimension to the game, and a sense of order to the environment.View attachment 1568874 View attachment 1568875 View attachment 1568876
I'm trying something new for Chemical Travel, but I don't know... In the poll my patrons don't seems so entusiastic.
If done right it can add to the story.
One I can think of that has done a good job with it is "The Office Wife" the maps are simple easy to understand, and for me they just work with that game.
But I have seen really confusing map's and aggravating as hell maps also made with RPG_game maker.
It is a mixed bag, some will find it adds to the story, while others will feel or find it is to frustrating.
Glad to see you're moving forward on your game making, I have truly enjoyed your last game, so look forward to this one as well.
The art system you're using is fine for me, I have quite and imagination, and suggestive visual's are normally all I need to kindle my imagination. I found your animations and visual's more than adequate for my fantasy enjoyment.
