Well, for how short it is, at least the writing is WAYYYY better, just hope that NTRMAN give those new writers a medium sized game for them to work with, i feel that they can do more than this.
yes these games are too short! for example there was a time jump of 8 months... what did Chona do in that time??? there could have been more scenes of "Chona's fall" and then get to the pregnancy! too much haste

Ah I get you now, yeah, that "great art wasted on NTR" take definitely sounds more like straight-up hate than preference.
My comment wasn’t defending that, though. I was talking more about people like myself, who actually like NTRMAN’s work and just want to see optional routes like Netori or avoidable NTR.
There's a big difference between hating the whole genre and just preferring a different POV or more choice.
Ah i see, that makes sense (Although idk if we're gonna get an NTR avoidable route from a dude called NTRMAN.)

Yeah I get the skepticism, I mean the guy literally calls himself NTRMAN, so it makes sense why people assume we’ll never see anything outside of pure Netorare. :KEK:
But honestly, Netori is still NTR, just from the other side. Instead of getting cucked, you’re the one doing the stealing. It still fits his theme of emotional betrayal and relationship damage, just with the player in control for once.
And it’s not like the idea is unheard of, Arrival of the Goddess had avoidable NTR based on gameplay, and Season of Loss 2 and 3 had branching routes and “good” endings depending on your performance. So the building blocks are already there.
I’m not expecting a full genre switch, I just think it’d be cool if he experimented more with that Netori angle, or at least gave us some control over the outcome like he has in the past. It’s still NTR, just... more satisfying. :sneaky:

You’re kinda missing the point. Not everyone who comments in NTR threads is secretly aroused, some of us just enjoy the art, the characters, or the writing, and want to see different outcomes, like Netori or avoidable NTR. That doesn’t mean we’re in denial or hate the genre. It’s just preference, no need to reach with all that weird psychological analysis.
That is true, the fact that it gives you options to either avoid it or have a different ending is what is missing. In the end, you "play" something that even if you change something, it ends up reaching the end and if you replay it You just find the same things, but it's just the point of view. That's why I think Adeline is her best work.

Yeah, I feel you. Games that actually give you choices or different outcomes just hit way harder, it makes the whole thing feel more personal, like your actions matter.
When everything’s locked into the same ending no matter what you do, it kinda kills the suspense, especially if you already know it’s gonna end in an L. That’s why I’m way more into stuff with avoidable NTR or Netori, at least let me fight back or flip the script.
I haven’t played Adeline yet, but I’ve heard a lot of people say it’s one of the better-written ones even though it’s linear. If the story’s that solid, I get why it still hits for some.

Dude I can say Adelaide was well written. so many endings too. If only NTRman notices that he can branch so many stories from there. Tho theres a game that shares the same universe as that one and theres a after story of it inserted in Adelaide, I remember it was "the queen and the goblin" or something.
