We've seen this movie before.

** And the updates are too small to satisfy multiple routes.

** And changing the entire game design at update #8 shows lack of direction and lack of planning.

They are trying to please multiple audiences, which is a fool's errand.

Instead of a niche game, linear and cute and fun as was the original concept . . . we have multiple short paths, making multiple short playthroughs that satisfy no one.

The art is being drawn picture by picture, so that in itself should have told the developers to keep to a linear and simple story.

I suspect they don't understand the mathematics of permutations. [n! etc . . .]

And the coding complexity is now significant, gobbling up time.

I was told long ago that if you can learn from your own mistakes and from others' mistakes, you'll be far ahead because most people don't even ever learn from their own mistakes. I'm still trying to learn from that lesson!

People like choice. Being able to shape character relationships is just what people expect these days. Rigid character pairings with little to no player choice feels a bit antiquated in the current market.

Those comments weren't very constructive with their criticism, but the root of their frustration is they want choice.

But they always have choice - the choice not to play the game at all.

Is it really that dramatic right now, though? I say this coming from games that take 1+ year between updates, which doesn't seem to be the case here yet. This seems way too pessimistic, you should just enjoy the game.

Ok, played it and let me tell.you, when Jules went Mommy mode, that is one of the hottest moments, love it so much and can't wait for lore of that and her.

I know it will be no strings attached right now, which is understandable, but I hope dev gets her to come around, to a full relationship down the line, really want to win her over, and gain her love...eternally.

The one thing I ask dev, is please don't lock or force group sex with men and her, don't mind group sex with girls, but don't want forced men interactions. Please have some sort of alternative solo scene.
