True... but I don't think Poland has DMCA. Not entirely sure how theirs work. And CDPR don't seem like they're assholes about it. And finally, I think.. maybe anyway, for something like this, it might just be blocked in poland, but not elsewhere. Unsure on that last point though.

As it is clearly a parody, it's considered a fair use.
:D "fair use"

Just because someone tags it "parody" you think copyright is no longer in effect, especially when (in some countries - and I guess Poland is very much one of them with their conservative catholic authoritarian government) illegal sexual content is in it?
The developers are infringing like shit and thus better don't make a big fuzz about it. Otherwise law will punch them harder than Geralt can hate portals!

Quick google search found:
The regulation is based on the Constitution of the Republic of Poland of 2 April 1997 (hereinafter referred to as “Polish Constitution”). There are fundamental rights and freedoms related to parody enlisted in the second chapter of the Polish Constitution called The Freedoms, Rights and Obligations of Persons and Citizens. In Article 54 there is Freedom of expression embodied. Together with Article 73–The Freedom of Artistic Creation, these two fundamental rights and freedoms favor the parody creators. On the other hand, there are also rights of the original work’s right owner represented by Article 64 – Right to Ownership.
And on one hand Poland is strongly catholic, on the other when CDPR made the Witcher series, most complaints regarding the sexual content were from the USA.

Dude, I get it you're taking your unchallenged wisdom from honest and undoubtful news :) but please try to stop blindfully follow what's have been told to you and think - it's not about Poland, it's more about CDPR. So about company which made game with violance, sex, and generally content that questions and attacks blind faith, yet nobody had a problem with that. The problem came from US, where ppl had a problem with medieval settings, so not enough black ppl in the game, and women are often treated like slaves (yet bunch of them create the most influencial party ever). So I wouldn't worry about CDPR going after a small patreon game, cos financial gains from that would be much smaller than negative PR from the news "CDPR is hunting independent parody creators".

I just read what I've wrote - in case if it sounds agressive - it's not :) Just wanted to point out that things like this aren't as big as we think they are (like rule34 for big games and movies, overwatch etc).

I don't even think CDPR has any rights on the witcher anymore.

Sapkowski sued them for 16 million in royalties but CD project settled the lawsuit for less (undisclosed amount). I’m guessing they settled in order to keep the rights, since they want to make more Witcher games in the future.

It might not be worth it to invest into the Witcher IP after the netflix show. Rather focus on things they have full ownership of like CyberPunk. Theworst should scrap babe runner and make a cp parody after ciri trainer, no chance cdpr will sue anyone lest they lose their pro con status.

I will take your advice and stop following, what has been told to me, right away:

What are "honest and undoubtful news"? What are you suggesting? That I just google something, take it as reality and believe it in a heart beat?
What about you? Are you one of those ppl who use terms like "mainstream media" and "establishment" to describe and categorize news publications - not really caring for actually origin, content and source?

Of course you are totally correct: no one will go after a fucking underground porn game, waaay to unimportant for anything. Its not like there aren't billion fuckin witcher porn files out there they need to go after as well.

Though Witcher 3 is filled with violence and it also has soft porn scenes in it, it never mixes violence and sexual content. It is always strickly seperated. A major difference to the stuff we talk about here.
On a side note: more interesting is actually that the brutal violence, blood, gore 'n' shit is not that much of a problem in most western societies but a fuckin nipple on the screen: rate R instantaneously.

I hope you do not really believe that copyright-infringing violent pornography is gonna win a public case in any court in the western world against million-dollar-industry lawyers, just with the vague claim that it is a parody?
Usually it is not going to go in favour of an obsucre "content creator", just because he claims "higher motives", defending freedom of speech and shit by monsters raping a female fantasy character in her late teenage years - just saying, not judging (I am here in this forum, too).

Actually, I am wasting too much time on this, just wanted to point out that "freedom of speech", which parody is a part of, is limited by other law in every liberal state with rule of law - Poland still is such a state, though it is slowly slipping into something else if you ask me.

And, yeah, this is also not meant aggressively - its a fucking underground porn game we are talking about so don't take anything personally please.

Don't worry I don't take it personally ;) judging by what you've written we're on the same page more or less - nobody important will give a fuck about a fucked up porn game.
