I played the version without the guide and its pretty grindy, i most likely havent seen everything but i gave up for now. Lots of stuff to gather(money, materials, various ingredients), lots of training sessions required in order to level up anything whether its Ciri's skills or Doppler's Axii.
I have no idea how to increase her lewdness, shes still "Innocent" after many encounters with the dryad and getting her boobs groped by foglets and "Vesemir"(under Axii).
Im sure it will be good slave trainer in the future once we have more options and lewd content. I will most likely upgrade my patron tier for the next version - to get the cheats(hate the grind) and to support the creators because its overall a high quality project for a Patreon porn game.

can you actually train in axii? I feel like I've sat in front of the fire and found the magic room in the basement a couple times and nothing has improved

You can get Axii to lvl 2 but yea, it takes like 15-20 training sessions to increase from 0 to level 1. It gets slightly easier with lvl 2 because actually using Axii also makes you better at it so you dont have to waste so much time with meditation.

Nice to see a genuine trainer game. It is a bit grindy but the concept is sound. I like it so far.

Why is it Vesemir and not Geralt?

Because it's not a dating game, it's a trainer. It's part of the fun. It's why the Death Star guy uses Vader and not Han Solo, and why Akabar used Dumbledore and not Harry.

Notice most of the people you mention are villains. Ciri was literally captured and trained by the elves so it should be the Wild Hunt or better yet that God like dude be the trainer.

I played the demo and grinded my heart out because Witcher world and characters are my shiet and good lord thanks to the gods for the cheat options because i would not have enough patience to do it again in chapter one.

Overall i recommend to wait for few updates even if you love the witcher like i do, this game is really well done when it comes to every art aspect or UI, story, writing(dev knows his shiet) but yeah, grind is too painful for that amount of content right now.

It definitely is! Since this game seems to be true to the source material I'd really appreciate them making this change, it probably won't take long to replace one word with the other. As someone who has read the books multiple times this honestly really bugs me, reminding me of fakes like "adedas" and "Nyke".

It´s a good game but I can´t stop thinking about if playing this game is or isn´t disrespectful towards Andrzej Sapkowski. I respect Mr. Sapkowski a lot. He is one of my favorite writers.

I really like his books and respect his work. Sadly he got bitter with age as he saw the game series becoming far more popular than the book, even going so far that people actually asked him whether he wrote the book to the game series!
Since this Ciri (age- and designwise) is way closer to the game than the book though I'd argue that the one you should maybe feel disrespectful towards the game developers and not the writer.

That said, as a hobby writer myself I know that I wouldn't care if people made fan work about one of my characters, even smutty one. I don't have to like it, but at the end of the day it shows how my words affected them, that my character to them is as real as any real human being. And that's a great feeling!

Edit: Since Ciri is actually a lesbian in the books: I'd love for her to no like it when she gets fucked, it always seemed weird and forced to me in other trainer games. At least having the option to have it remain pure "service", something the girl would never, ever do if she wasn't forced to, fits much better in my opinion.

Ciri was not a lesbian. Where did you get that idea? She had a brief "romance" as a young teen with some female rogue and thats it. Also this is not a dating sim, its a slave trainer, she will most likely end up as an obedient and lewd slut... which is great ^^
