Yeah I checked the patreon page after commenting and was pleasantly surprised to see the next part comes so soon lolPublic release is in a couple of days!
Dumb question, I'm sorta new here. Do I have to download the whole game again or can I update the old one by downloading the patch only when the new release arrives?Public release is in a couple of days!
Downloading the whole game again is recommended, if your internet download speed is good.Dumb question, I'm sorta new here. Do I have to download the whole game again or can I update the old one by downloading the patch only when the new release arrives?
The latter.is this one of those "restart" "rework" thing or is it for real?
..they do not.....dats not how the site works....especially since other games here stick to developers' schedules unless the project is abandoned
It took almost a month to leak though, which can't be said for many other devs.I was disappointed to learn that my game was leaked here before the official update release. I know leaks can happen by accident sometimes, but this situation has caused serious concern, especially since other games here stick to developers' schedules unless the project is abandoned. This undermines the integrity of the release and the experience I wanted to give everyone. Some bugs that were recently reported by patrons were supposed to be fixed by the public release, but now that doesn't matter.
I recommend waiting for the official release. Hope everyone else enjoys the game in the meantime.
It means I'm supported by the best of the best.It took almost a month to leak though, which can't be said for many other devs.
Paywall it behind $10 tier until it's completed, that will drastically slow leaks and is what Daniels K has done (though he has older completed AVNs for lower tiers). Considering it took a month to leak, that's actually rather slow, most get leaked within 24 hours if it's cheap to sub to do so (ie $3 or less). Some devs simply put lolis in them with no patch to get it removed from this site on purpose (lolis are mostly pirate-proof since most popular sites don't want to touch them). Probably the best way to do it is simply don't release anything at all until it's completed for a $20 Steam-only like it used to be done. Sure, leaks of that still happen but the damage is far less since most do not want to pay $20 just to leak something.I was disappointed to learn that my game was leaked here before the official update release.
