I’ve now passed over 800 renders and the script has grown to over 20,858 words in-game. The world is really starting to flesh out, and I’m excited to finally share a little more of what’s in store.
Without giving too much away, here’s what you can expect so far:
A night at the club with choices that set the tone for Kate’s relationships — will she let herself get carried away, or keep her distance?
A QTE moment - not designed to piss anyone off, but has been fun to make, to provide random renders to appear based on your decisions and how you want the story to progress.
Multiple morning routines that branch in different directions: from the intimacy of a shower, to yoga interrupted by Geoff and his sharp tongue, to the lighter side of Kate trying to keep her balance in heels while on the job.
A sauna encounter that quickly escalates, complete with a chance to win or lose depending on your decisions. Victory keeps Kate in control, but even defeat doesn’t end her journey… it just changes the flavour of what comes next.
Progression toward a party, where Kate will need to look her best or at least try to while being pulled into deeper intrigue.
Every choice is designed to matter, some immediately, others only when you least expect it.

City of Sin ✨ Update

I’m officially working on the final scene for this first release of City of Sin.
It’s a big one (because of course it is), but once this scene is done, that’s it — all renders for this build will be complete.

After that, I’ll move on to integrating the last of the script and doing a full pass to make sure everything flows the way it should. I'm very close now.

New Phone System
This build also includes the brand-new phone system, which isn’t just visual dressing — it now:

Acts as a choice interface in certain scenes
Shows messages, calls, and key info seamlessly inside the story

Future updates will expand it further with:

A full Gallery
Customisable wallpapers
Additional preferences
And the ability to initiate calls when appropriate in the narrative

This phone UI is going to become a core part of how the world unfolds in City of Sin.
