Doing a side by side comparison of the wolf scenes, I think they may have gotten worse in the update :(. They mainly increased the saturation of the colors, to the point where Claire's skin almost seems to be glowing.

I may have been getting my sides mixed up , they toned down the excessive saturation in the latest version. Good job devs. Although you did introduce a weird discoloration in the headband in Wolf_7C.

Honest question here... have you played Claire Quest - it certainly doesn't sound like it...
It certainly sounds you didn't bother to check if I wrote a review of this game, which I did. Which means I played this one.

and yes 2 new h-scenes, 2 h-scene overhauls AND a new questline full of dialogue is a lot of work. Have you ever worked on an RPGM games? I tried starting development on one it was far harder than you can imagine, I gave up
That only means you have little to none talent at game developing. Which is ok, I don't write computer games either. 'Claire Quest's' developers however, do know how to make RPGM hentai. They've finished and released 'Overgrown' a couple of years ago, remember? They're just stalling further development of CQ, is all.

If you don't believe me, then do a quick Google search of walkthrough for version 0.17.2, which was released around September 2019, three years ago. Judging by that walkthrough, I'd say 70-80% of the current content had already been there, three years ago. What takes so long to move the story forward, apart from running out of ideas for more H-stuff and quests, which should suggest to any smutty story-teller that perhaps it's time to tie loose ends and wrap it all up, put finishing touches here and there and move on to another project.

Making porn games that are high quality is a lot more work than you are giving it credit for, yes there are money milking games
This game looses its initial quality as time goes and no end is on the horizon. It's 2022 and H-RPGMs have been done to death by now, mechanics, tropes, the entire schtick from virgin heroine to superslut. Kagura Games is releasing English versions of H-RPGMs, most of which receive raving reviews here, but... these games are often older than the first public release of Claire's Quest.

I also wonder how many RPGM games you have played? Have you played Violated Heroine?
Way too many, so now all of them blur into one game with misadventures of a feminine paperdoll in goblin forest/school/office (tick appropriate or select all). 'Violated Heroine', how original...

Very few RPGM games have the story, dialogue and branching quests like Claire's Quest does.
Which is exactly one of the main problems with this game. It's supposed to be a game, not a never-ending lewd soap opera. How many more quests and scenes do we need to go through to have this over with and perhaps start a newgame+ to explore other routes? I get a feeling sometimes that way too many H-game devs start with an idea for their game without ever thinking how it should end. Just build a 'sandbox in progress' with tits and dicks... preferably on the same body.

Are you seriously complaining about the fact that the game is getting continuous support?
That it's open to ideas of including variety of fetishes over time to fill in specific niches?

...seriously?

You guys have seen the map, correct? There's several regions to fully make. Dialogue to write.
Not to speak of the fact that they have to redraw and rewrite parts of the story purely based on fact that you have different ones if Claire's a pervert.

Game's on 0.24 release. That alone should give you an idea of how far into a fullblown release it is.
And by the time it's done, game's going to have probably over 300 different sex scenes. Which I welcome.
I get that you guys are impatient.
But like, don't play the goddamn game then? Wait 2 years, maybe more? Revisit the game then and see how drastically has it changed.
Instead of crying about the fact that developer has completely reworked a character and had art drawn for it from scratch.
Alongside actual other sex scenes which had to be written, developed and art made for it.
As for ending the story. Why should they end it, when they can make the game better.
Unlike many devs, Dystopianproject has an actual finished game with fully custom drawn art in it.
After finishing it, they naturally want to outdo themselves with CQ.

Additionally, I don't fucking get the complaints about ''too much walking'' and the game being ''tedious''
Only actual tedious thing about it is earning money. But hell, even that can be easily solved if you just give yourself the money.

There are no fights in this game to do. You don't have to even manage your shitty equipment so you don't get your ass whooped by an enemy group.
Just walk around, maybe eat an apple or two the next day. Simple.

cant advance vane mansion quest (let them eat fruit) , claire gets stuck in the chair and cant move
Like the other posters above, also experiencing this - cannot progress at all. Which is a shame, as this seems like it has potential.

Wtf is "OVER ENCUMBRANCE" ?

And how can i get Breeding Papers II ?

If i am not mistaken it means you are carrying too many stuff in your pockets. and you need to drop some of it in a hotel room or somewhere.

How can you get breeding papers-II, Easy- after getting breeding papers-I :geek:

Haha, Jokes aside, you need to look into your General to see which task you have to do next, i played it long ago so cant exactly remember but it was something like you go to the old man he gives you a job to XXXXXX and you get BP-I and for more hardwork (say fuck with some animal) you get breeding Paper-II. when you get a property of yor own you get BP-III. in the farmers country.

i wont mind if someone corrects me here: i am open to suggestions. it's just i played this game long ago.

Cheers.

Rempy remake would be extremely appreciated for this game indeed
Technically possible.
Since the art is there. There's many art assets available on their patreon too.
Problem is - how the fuck do you structure it into a Ren'py format?
A lot of the game revolves around the fact that you walk around. Avoid enemies.
Having various fates if you fail.
Having various stats, random events in specific places and such.

It sounds like a monumental amount of work to remake.
Especially with having to structure it in a logical and undertstandable way.

Like i said literally i cant remember what exactly all the quest were: but, as far as i am able to understand you are probably somewhere in the map where you have to retrieve a book from from the library (In short- The Book Quest) ?
is it? may be if you can share a picture it will become more easy to understad where are you In the the game.
Frankly i never really read any BS at all LOL.

Really enjoy the game, I can understand why some people are a bit upset over the lack of frequent updates but some people have lives believe it or not

well, i am not a Judge so i cant really jump to conclusions but yeah, both the sides are Right as per their own prospective,
there are devs who are delivering fast and
there are dev's who are emphasizing more on... No... (Not quality), but final result.

i have came across with both types of Devs, those who deliver fast Do manage to give some quality stuff but as far as me have experienced such games, a person play it for a very limited Number of times and than getting bored is obvious. this goes with a wide variety of fast release games.
on the other side, with the long time taking games, it keep the interest generated.
but looking at the complexity of the design it may take some extra time. when someone suggested me this game, once i was done and over with the previous version, i never played it again since than but i am still here following this thread. this game is still very attractive to me,

TBH- when i completed all the stages- i was a bit disappointed looking at the development speed. but later on i realized that this is actually not a game, it is more of a novel to me.

and i am sure if anyone, after playing it gets charged up by some sort of emotions at their genitals, (Turned-on i mean) we can imagine how hard it will be for the Devs to keep their creativity going on and thinking of new possibilities in the game and keep their minds strait in the place.
this game is way to large and it is actually a touff job to keep on adding, with almost a corrupt/horney state of mind.

just a view not trying to impose anything or to be a judge.

LOL
1. Expecting people to arbitrarily check if you submitted a review. If it sounds like you didn't play the game, why would someone check if you reviewed it? They probably also didn't check your profile to see if you wrote in your description: "played Claire Quest." It's such a weird and specific thing to expect of someone... which you pretend anyone would do the moment they suspect someone might not have played a game.
The reply suggests they find you irritating, not interesting... people who find you irritating probably aren't going to research you.
2. Pretending that writing a review requires you played the game. Fun fact, lying does not require you played the game.

Good.
Play it. Then don't touch it again, until it's done.
If the game has managed to impress you, despite it being at only 20% of its completion, you have one hell of a game waiting for you in several years once it's done.

We frankly live in time where game development has seriously picked up on the scale.
Downside is - many of the great and loved games, despite complaints, are being developed. Instead of being ready to be shipped.
