There is no turn based combat system, once you get an encounter it all depends on the foe, your skills and your items.

It is a exploration game with some fighting/stealth/killing mechanics. It is quite different from the usual RPGMaker game.
So that's what the problem is. The game is trying to make Claire walk down to talk to the ranger for that quest in Chemont, but the other NPC is in her way so she can't move, and the player has no control. That's why noclip fixes the issue.
Speaking of noclip, if you save Beth her grandma gives you a Gold Ring, but without cheating there's no way to actually talk to her since Beth and the fire are in the way.

I wonder which'll happen sooner; the developers passing away from old- or me reaching pension-age by the time the game's finished.
I think the energy on this game collapsed once Steam accepted their other game.

Don't remember if there was a corruption tag but i don't think it fits well with this game's story anyway.
There might ve been a shift in story, but the corruption theme remains. I mean there are literally scenes where Claire gets raped and if the depravity is high enough she loves it. Isn't that the definition of corruption ? Thats why the removal of the tag seemed weird to me.

you have to use a different version.
the RPG_Maker_MV_v1.5.1_Mac_OS_X
works fine just be sure to have a folder with name "save" inside the www directory
