overgrown was really mid, they made a top down shooter in RPG maker where you can only shoot in 4 directions... who even thought that was a good idea? even having simple stat checks like claires quest is better.

It was a really cheap and easy way for the Dev to build up cred. "see. I've completed a game. I'm not like those other devs milking supporters" . . .meanwhile CQ has been in development for more than 5 years.

Big fan of this game, lots of sexy stuff. I was overwhelmed by how much content there was especially in the first 10 hours the world just seemed bottomlessly deep which was a wonderful feeling. Be sure to save often though because this game can be punishing.

It's more likely that they realize that they can get better turn around and profit margins by just straight releasing H images than incorporating them into a game.

Why bother to hire story writers and proof check game systems when you can just drop a picture and a sketch every 1-2 months to string the whales along.
