I actually prefer overgrown genesis, you have a cool zombie game, a curvy heroine.Been in an RPG phase recently and enjoying the "searching" in RPG. Overgrown Genesis led me to this novel. I do like the art style but the monsters in Overgrown weren't to my taste. The story was great, and that is what mainly led me to Claire's Quest.
I like the story and the art style, but as was mentioned in this thread recently, there appears to be a lot of Beastilary in this, and that is hell no for me. Thankfully, way this RPG setup, it appears you can be selective with what quests you can start, and it doesn't appear like they're tied together, which is a great thing. I can easily avoid the Beastilary, but really wish there were none at all in this.
Sadly, going to be a long wait for this to finish, as there are a lot of unfinished paths; naturally, it takes time to finish them. The fact that devs finished Overgrown gives me confidence that they will finish this.
I do wish the Futa path had a "neither route" instead of choosing submission or domination. I hope there is going to be a specific path with the fairies, where you do favours for them, but they seem to be part of other paths at the moment.
I think the Slums should be a bigger area, but I guess the underground (sewers) are technically part of the slums. Don't remember a way into the sewer area from the Slums? I forget.
The map is very well designed, and each part is fun to explore. So much replayable value to this as well, it's a well-made game.
i think i'm missing something but where is the ''rough sex'' in Isander x Claire scene? All i see is Claire getting fingered and / or being pissed on afterwards but thats all.NEW SCENES IN 0.28.2
Temple/Sisters (Schism - if siding with Rose): Peony x Rose's Followers. Features group sex, futa, and reversal.
Sidequest (Most Wanted, part 1): Isander x Claire. Features fingering, rough sex, and blood/violence.
Well its a pretty big game with quite a bit of content and they got full release of Overgrown Genesis in meantime... so... no not a scam. People can cancel their patreon subscribtion you knowThis is a scam now right? Created in 2016, getting 11k almost in patreon money a month, lol, people are so easy. Version 0.28 in 9 years.
More to the point, people are responsible for their own money. Don't sign up for a patreon page you don't actually want to support. You have no one but yourself to blame if money you didn't want to spend gets withdrawn from a system which you knew could do that, did that thing.People can cancel their patreon subscribtion you know
No, it's not a scam. Some people struggle with the idea that an independent, amateur production is not going to hold itself to standards even AAA developers struggle and destroy themselves over trying to keep. You can always pay for the finished product if you don't like the patreon model. This is a scam now right?
Yes, it is a scam. This game been in development for over 8 years. This has nothing do with triple A standards or any standards of any kind. The art is good but the game has major problems in addition to the indefinite development timeline. And in point of fact you cannot pay for a finished product because there isn't one and there isn't ever going to be one. If the dev loses enough patreon supporters he'll simply abandon the game but he'll never finish it. I don't believe he possesses the discipline or competence to finish it. OG:Genesis was completed with the help of individuals who've abandoned CQ and moved on to their own projects like Witch Hunter. No, it's not a scam. I've seen indie studios do more with less. Stardew Valley was made by a single (SINGLE) person in 5 years including everything from art to mechanics and music. Plenty of successful metroidvania on Steam costed less than this game made in 9 years.More to the point, people are responsible for their own money.
