How to unclock prologue scene of the last one in the first row? pigboss with a girl.
You have to wait for 4 days or more before you go and rescue your mother. Because you have three days for Claire to rescue both her mother and Marie. If you wait longer than three days, then Marie gets raped because I believe she ended up drinking the water due to her extreme thirst. Or the boss decided to just rape her. I could never figure out how that happens. But that's how you unlock that scene.

The 'standard' version of Claire's Quest, ie. the Patreon Version, or the 'Black Edition', includes the Urchins Questline and shotacon content, and related sidequests - but not the Showgirls Questline in Valos.

The Steam-exclusive version, or 'Gold Edition', has no Urchins or shotacon content, but in it's place has the Showgirls Questline sponsored by publishers to make up for it...

Finally, 'The Collector's Edition' of Claire's Quest includes all of the above content... (not avaliable yet)
So this version of the game is "The Collector's Edition" but then why both Showgirl and Urchins Quest-lines WIP? Someone please explain this to me

I'm a nerd when it comes to sound designs and I hated the sounds of silence in every situation. Also, I use earphones to play games just like any other people but I dont judge if you dont use them
ok well what if someone is coming to your room or knocking and you couldn't hear them because of the earphones or whatever lol

Because the Showgirl and Urchin questline are still in development. The collector's edition has been around for a while, since version 0.22 if I remember correctly. I always took the Collector's Edition as the "complete updated version with all of the current content." Plus the game is still under development and doesn't have the word "completed" next to the title.

Idk why but I'm really loving this game, I generally don't like RPG games, find them too boring, but this game is really fun!
It gives me a sense of adventure, also the Dev integrated cheats in the game so when I need to I can increase and decrease attributes anytime. Most other games make me read excessively, this game also does that but gradually, so I don't get bored.

I'm sometimes even playing it when I'm not even looking for nsfw content, pretty good story!

Are there any other games like this that aren't boring and I can get a sense of progression?

The one game that comes to my mind is Zombie's Retreat. There's plenty of content though most of that content is sexual. But the story is good and the dialogue is on par with Claire's Quest. And it's a shooter game on top of you salvaging.

Another game if you want a story driven game is Ecchi de Ichizu na Doinaka Nii-sama to, Koshikiyukashii Byoujaku Imouto, or A Sex-obsessed Brother in the Country, and his Traditional, Sickly Sister, Sickly Days and Summer Traces. That game is super good with multiple scenes and story branches. But it's all told in a super good narrative that it became one of my favorite hentai game.

I thank the person who made the Walkthrough guide. Even tho it's for an older version, it's been really helpful!

Are there any plans for an updated one?

at the beginning should you chose the north or south route at the fork in the road. What’s the difference and do you miss out on scenes etc ?

Choose South or whichever one that takes you to the one inner city on the verge of being overrun with the monsters. That way you can go and save one of the best girl in the whole game, Marie. Just make sure you get to the fort where your mother is in within 3. Otherwise she'll be lost forever and you'll burn in hell*.

(*I'm just a huge fan of Marie that I want everyone to save her. Plus you get a nice albeit an emotional lesbian sex scene with Claire and her childhood friend.)

Is Marie the only reason to choose that route though. Is the north route meaningless ? I’m asking just the difference between the two.
I’m guessing you can’t save her if you go north instead of south?

North has a bunch of H scenes exclusive to it but you can unlock the prologue gallery once you reach the islands so yeah it is better to go South since it has more content and npcs.

Yeah, if you don't go south, you lose Marie for good. You also lose the chance of rescuing your mother and preventing her mind from being broken. The Abbott and Claire's friend possibly (definitely) get raped and unable to be rescued.

Going North does give you a lot more scenes in terms of sex and you do have the opportunity to rescue Beth before she's sold off. But Beth can be rescued later since she does go to the island. From the scenes that I have seen (and I have seen all of them since I have started the game over 6+ times,) I know that Marie kinda becomes Claire sister.

Mostly, because if you manage to rescue Marie, you rescue Claire's mother with her, instead of just Claire's mother by herself. And should you rescue Marie with your mother, the moment you are able to get the refugees a place to stay, Marie hangs out with Claire's mother. Then once Claire actually buys a place to call home, (I.E the Breeding Ranch or the run down slums apartment) when Claire moves there, Claire takes her mother with her, along with Marie. Because at this point Claire's mother becomes a short of a surrogate mother for Marie at least that's what I see. And Claire's mother becomes attached to Marie since it was Marie that kept her from drinking the water in the first place. So Claire's mother owns it to Marie to look out after her.

Which leads to the first night in the new home in which Claire, her mother and Marie share a bed together. (Nothing sexual just for comfort due to everything that they have experienced in the past weeks.) But from what I can gather is that some time in the future Claire should be able to have a sexual relationship with both her mother and Marie, if not just Marie.

That's why save scamming is highly recommended to see all of the scenes that the game has to offer.

is there any game similar to this one ?
The only games that come to mind is Overgrown: Genesis (Which is by the same group behind Claire's Quest,) and Zombies Retreat 1 and 2. If you are looking for a game that's just focused on sex then the game Last Hope by Poolside Games is a good one. But it all depends on what your poison is. Cause there's a good decent amount of completed games on here that are worth your time.

Question: is it worth it to try this game? I am seeing a lot of frustrated people on this thread and reviews but I'm curious. Is it good? How is the H in this game? Is there enough play time?
