Ok, I got it. Brothel is in the west part of Rathpike City which is not in this version of the game (at least I didn't find how to get there and somebody posted that 0.16.6b contains only prologue and Valos parts).
Right, that was my suspicion as well. Thanks.

Weekly Blog 135

Hello all and welcome to another weekly blogpost!

With Claire's Quest, the next update will bring in Rathpike and complete the overhaul at last. Some big changes - to sort of solidify the focus on each city's different available kinks and preferences, the stables and kennels from Rathpike are permanently moved to Valos (in Chemont, the ranching town). Rathpike will instead focus mainly on monsters.

Chemont will also be getting much more content. There will be a sort of "major job quest", where you work your way through the different ranches, and it all culminates in you being able to purchase your own barn, and hire female farmhands to help you out. This is still a work in progress, though, so I can't say much more about this apart from that little teaser!

The Rathpike overhaul will first be for the city alone. This isolated release lets bugtesting get rid of all the potential bugs in the city area first. Once that's clear, we will do the "countryside" release. This is the same manner in which Valos was tested post-overhaul.

Previous scenes without CG, such as the warehouse, the mercenary ambush at Dargan, the Rockbeast, etc., have all been outfitted with CGs. Additionally, expect to see plenty of new content as well (many of them themed around monsters, as is Rathpike's ilk), featuring things like Dreadflies, Driders, and more!

After the overhaul of old content is done, the three major questlines will all advance! They are the Mercenaries (which will advance after you slay the Kraken to a Dreadfly stage), the Thieves (where the repercussions of Lecter's actions lead to a pirate-themed stage), and the Shieldmaiden (where rescuing Bjorn and his troupe leads them to setup camp in North Rathpike and you can start sailing out with them Norse Viking monster-slayer style!)

Anyway, that's all for now. Stay tuned for more news!

Wow i've just played this game and is wonderful, i love both art and story, one of the best female protagonist game. I've read next update will be much on monsters, sadly i'm not a fan of that i hope the game will not be definitely concentrated on monosters in the next updates too. Always happy to discover some good female protagonist game

Weekly Blog(s) 137 - 138

Hello and welcome to another weekly blog series!

...

On the Claire's Quest front, the Rathpike overhaul is coming along nicely with assets for most maps done. We're waiting on a couple more sprites, especially factional ones like the Thieves, as well as a few more loose assets here and there. I'm hoping for Rathpike to be fully overhauled and ready for progressive release in May, but it could also be June. Hard to say for now.

As mentioned previously, apart from the overhaul the Thieves and Mercenaries are getting some new content, and the Shieldmaiden questline will be introduced, with Old Red and her casino district playing a mysterious role with the Shieldmaiden questline.

Side note - we have new reward tier portraits, just a fun little thing we thought to do. Observe the progressive stages of ahegao with Claire!

For patrons, reward packs will arrive shortly!

That' s all for now - stay tuned for more news!

Cool game though it's less of a game and more of a VN with walking. I do appreciate the devs ditching the ugly-ass stock RPGMaker assets and making their own NPC sprites (though their diversity at the moment is poor).

My biggest problem overall is how poorly balanced stat gains are. There's a lot of them in the prologue - and then nothing. How come jacking off a horse in Hookton nets Claire +2 Depravity, but FUCKING one later doesn't? Probably because it's repeatable, to prevent grinding it, but it would be relatively easy to add a stat gain as a one-time thing...
Content for a Defiance-based dominant Claire seems almost non-existent at the moment. Raising Defiance locks you OUT of scenes, which is predictable, but pointless for a porn game.

It brags about the very classic 'YOUR CHOICES MATTER!' RPG shtick, but doesn't really deliver as far as scene variety comes. All it comes down to is checks on Claire's Depravity or Defiance. Some of the scenes in-game currently miss such variations.

The game also desperately needs some kind of characterization system for Claire - let me dress her up. It's nice that her portrait changes depending on the highest stats, but I'd really like to wear more outfits other than the default peasant girl one.

There's also a couple of REALLY embarrassing bugs I found through MV... like placing a player transfer event on a non-passable tile. No player is going to be able to find this bug, because they can't walk into the tile...

The stats do matter, and they do have an affect on Claire! The CG scenes vary due to the stats, and it affects how Claire handles certain situations, you can only put so much into the game since artwork, assets, spirits, ect, aren't free! If the stat requirements aren't where they need to be then certain hidden quests will not show up. The stats and how you build them up is up to the player!

You only have 4 stats which are easy to know, I respect others opinions but these games aren't created by major gaming studios! And you really should go on the Patreon page to make suggestions, most if not all of your comments have been discussed by other players with the Dev.

RPGMaker, is basically a modern version of the old DOS games which are nothing more the Visual Novels, rather then looking at cheesy text graphics and typing in 'key' commands you get (depending on the dev) graphics, CG art, a slightly more immersive game! ANd I haven't ran into many if any RPG games that come close to what your looking for. The only other RPG that comes to mind thats world is built like nothing like the typical RPG games you come across is Threads Of Destiny.

And keep in mind this is an overhauled game, the previous game looked like most RPG games you come across on F95, its missing Rathepike which was a vital part of the original game. Once things get settled in with the revamp I believe the focus will be improving upon the game!

Ok dude, I know, I've seen how events are written in the game through MV itself, and it really isn't as good as you're trying to make it sound. It mostly comes down to 'IF Depravity >= 5, ELSE' on events. The artwork discrepancy is nice, but it's an either-or case of Claire being resistant or Claire being a slut. Which is fine, to be honest, I can't expect too many variations per scene.

Intrigue at the moment is a straight up gimmick - there is NO lock-pickable chests in the game except one in the prologue, there is a 7 Intrigue requirement to inspect a tree that does... nothing, and an Intrigue 9 requirement to finish a sub-quest - and that's a hard requirement meaning the quest is un-finishable if you don't have 9 Intrigue.

I have no idea what you're even on about here. This game clearly lacks in the 'gameplay' department. The character customization is limited to the 4 stats only. There's no combat. There's no equipment, or skills, or anything. There's no day/night cycle or any time progression at all. The NPCs are all static. There's no stealth. The world is small so there's not much exploring it. And there's nothing TO explore for - there's no secrets, no items to collect. There's not even any puzzles. The hunger/exhaustion mechanics are primitive at best.
Yeah, there's no grind. That's good. But that doesn't change the fact it dilutes the game to 'Run here, talk to NPC, pick flavor text option, run there, talk to NPC, get fucked, run there...' which definitely does NOT make it an RPG. And that's ok, if that's what the dev intended... it's just not very exciting IMO. Just decent.

Oh, and also, if anyone thinks writing is supposed to be this game's forte then I can only laugh at them. I found like 10 it's/its errors in a single scene.

Patron admins are very restrictive when it comes to their rules, how come they do not make them trouble because of the bestiality?
