I havnt looked into the dates/relationship code much.. but i know they can decline effectively.. .. its the premise of the whole "Yea great.. sure.. il call you (never).... have a good night".. So it might not be a bug. If your stats are good (there's a behind the scenes charm stat, and attractiveness etc), and it keeps happening.. the maybe its a calc issue with the game, but last i knew you could invite people home (and prior to 8.0 at least). You do need your own place.. either the Apt above Kelly's bar or the highrise condo.

Once invited home it would kind of work once they got there, and sometimes they would leave, sometimes it would think you are in a perpetual date mode when going back to the bars. I havnt touched it much since 8.0, so I dont know if the backend coding is fixed for that, but I know the invites home did work.
Sorry, what I meant was the dates are kicking me out of my own home.

Hmm ok that I havnt heard of before. As long as you have not tried to pull saves between game versions.. get what info you can.. if you can repeat it and the steps, and go post that on the TFGS forum thread. Mug doesnt watch this thread.

krantos What coretex said plus if you going for the gameplay transformation if you keep your horniness high you will change faster. The witch tells you as much in one of her phone calls.

My experience just now with a fresh download: the default start and enter homeless shelter, play for about 2 weeks in game time, get job at Hooters, start to meet new plot-relevant NPCs, stop being paid at Hooters, forced to pay rent three times over 6 days, get kicked out of the homeless shelter despite having gainful employment. Pointless grind on top of that, including some that is just nonsensical. You can walk for more than 2 hours total as you go around the city, work an eight hour shift, eat sparingly, and you still gain weight unless you pay boatloads for a workout outfit. Your face is described as being so ugly that people actively avoid you, despite there being no clear way to do anything about that.

Being told that your character in a sex game is hideously unfuckable is the opposite of eroticism, and the game feels like it needs the player to cheat in order to function. Get it together, folks.

So how does the transformation work in this game?
So far i have got boobs from nanobots and full female from the male birth control trial but they r a bit sudden and too quick. The lips from dreams is my preferred pace of transformation.
Are there other ways to get these trial transformations?

Ok.. so DrunkenBird and Areeb have pretty much hit it on the head as far as the 2 varying extremes of people who play these types of games, and yet look for entirely different things.

First.. the easy part.. Transformations.
Either you do the medical trials, and basically BRUTE FORCE your way down the girl path (which is fine, theres even some special content triggered mostly for flavor in doing that), or you do the super slow burn (like the original intent is) to get basically all the same things and play out the whole "slow magic burn M2F trope". Again this is even from games this one is inspired from. Old "Cursed" in old rags game engine, and GirlLife being the primary 2 influences.

Now to the "rent/grind/thing".. I'm going to pull this card.. and I pull it rarely cause Id rather not have to drill people..
YOU DIDNT READ!!! and then THINK just a TINY bit. The point of the game IS the slow burn, but its not nearly as grindy as it appears. Its a hell of a lot less grindy than Girlife which a good chunk of its code is based on and then heavily modified/hacked apart.

Fairhaven gives you basically a trial week for free. So after that first few days, you must pay DAILY. When you go to pay that rent.. if you dont have enough cash, or are at zero... even with relatively low fem scores, you are given options, to do "submissive girly things" to get that rent either reduced or even dropped to nothing (takes repeated attempts/occurrences).
Now the Hooters job... as stated when you get hired.. PAYS YOU ONCE A MONTH, and I quote "We make payroll the 15th of each month". So you get a huge pay influx then.. but otherwise you can go poor quick, unless you go for a few of the other money making side jobs which can be found at the community center job board in the biz district. Plus.. the med trials, give you cash too. (I for one usually when starting a new game, I just go for one eye treatment one, and then I play out the rest of the game from there). So between the other parts of the day that you dont work at Hooters, and/or if you do even one or 2 trials, you can get enough cash to hold you over as long as you dont over spend and can easily cover the Fairhaven costs.

If you do the dirty clothes thing to get forced to get a "donation pile" outfit, that saves you some cash, gives you further fem score, and contributes to getting the player char to open up to other options. If you go down Julia's path enough to get the free outfit she gives, she forces more things the character has to deal and come to terms with and opens up more options for the player. (If you keep going that can either get you kicked out of Fairhaven, push you down a therapist path to deal with your transformation (whether you lie about its intent or not), or just keep things going like "normal" with Julia occasionally trying to be a bit of a dom over you (which you can play or avoid for the most part).

The part about "walking around the city" .. to actually go from district to district doesnt take that much time walking, even less if you buy a bus ticket (daily weekly monthly options available). The whole part where you "walk around the city and loose an hour each time" thats when you are walking around to DISCOVER other areas. Once you find all the areas in the game currently available that option disappears.

Weight gain doesnt seem to have been too much of a problem.. but you get low (read as not healthy) meals at Fairhaven, but that doesnt hit you that hard on the calorie gain as long as you are not "overeating" .. meaning not eating when you have still a fairly full hunger bar in the stats. If you also then eat at Hooters, well.. there's your sign. As for the workout clothes.. they are not that expensive (read back to my money comments), but again.. if you play out the story.. and work at Hooters, and meet this girl there you become friends with.. she will invite you out to work out with her 2x a week.. which gets you in as a guest FOR FREE, and she gives you an outfit to borrow for that visit FOR FREE. Eventually when you figure out the money situation you can get your own membership to go anytime and afford your own clothes. But the weight gain isnt that far out of control that its that bad not going every day. (You could be teetering on the numbers in the stat that sets you going back and forth between overweight and not for a while until you get it under control).

And then Hygiene -- again GirlLife influences.. starts the same, but in this game its MUCH easier to start a positive path to improvement... just even taking care of yourself, showers/etc will get slow gains.. but.. hey.. there is this fancy place called a mall in the biz district... and inside is a beauty salon.. and.. they sell facial cream... i wonder what that does.

These games are FIRST about exploration as much as its about the "day to day slice of life" experience, then its a sex game SECOND. Look around for all the options. Save/quick save.. go test something out/explore, find out whats out there, then reload and plan. That IS kind of the whole deal with these types of games. If you dont like that game style.........I cant help you there.. find other games to play.

Forgive me for going full snark. Just play and enjoy the game the way its scoped and intended.

Like coretex just explained above very nice ... this game is meant to be a slow transform game. So, MC is supposed to have a slow transition (like the dreams). But the author opened up side-routes shortcuts for players who want a different pace or path (instant transform / staying a shemale) and promised to add an option to become male again for the (far distant) future. There are various options and you may pick to your liking.

Areeb: Like coretex already wrote: You may just play on the game and dreams and other activities (yoga, the ball exercises, quests, etc.) will do the transformation very very slow like intended. That arch will peak with a night visit from the witch offering MC a full transformation after some while and doing quests for her. The fast stuff are shortcuts for people who are impatient / unwilling to play with a shemale and can be ignored.

Added those information about the game in the Support post

Does the therapist quest stop progressing once he starts doing the 'roleplay'? I really don't want to live in the halfway house anymore but if there's a completion of that I'd like to get it first. Seems like it just goes on forever, though.

For the coffee job.. I have not gotten around to playing that piece of it.. but from reading other posts, i think on TFGS.. you have to have some breast growth and have some semi decent looks before its offered. Beyond that im not sure. I could look at the code later and check.

For Therapist.. yea after it starts to get physical, and doing the whole role play business... thats so far the end of that path I believe. I dont recall anything on the upcoming Patreon to public (month delay to pub) posts either. Im not a patron, but Mug doesnt hide the "Heres whats coming" posts like a lot of other authors do.

This time around I seem to have managed to get pregnant while still having my vaginal virginity. I'm wondering when the shepherds and 3 wise men are going to show up.

There's a lot going on in the game now. It would be nice if you could earn the role of library assistant again if you lose it for non-attendance one week.

anyone else know how to get the coffee shop job?
You need fairly high attractiveness, femininity and willingness to wear skimpy clothing.

What's more annoying (though it might just be something I'm doing wrong) is that once I actually got the job I just had a few (three?) days of work before hitting a screen with no valid actions (when I was supposed to talk to my boss after work).

Any bugs, write up a good description, be able to provide the save if needed, and post it over on the TFGS forum for it, to get it looked at. Might be a patch or 2 before its fixed, but at least it will get eyes on it.

So, anyone knows how you get a bf/gf? I keep going to dates but they don't end that well as some people already mentioned, stats are high, so no idea what I could be doing wrong.

Takes an hour to walk.png

Average human walk speed is 3 to 4 miles per hour, and you also have to make the return trip. You can do this every day, as long as you fulfill your other needs. If you walk ~7 miles every day, you'll lose some weight (or at the very least won't be putting on pounds). It doesn't really matter that you're eating at Hooters when you can basically get by with one meal a day on your break as long as you're not being too adventurous, unless your character is being force-fed burgers, beer, and boneless wings over that 30 minute period.

As for the workout clothes.. they are not that expensive (read back to my money comments)
The point is that it's ludicrous that you NEED to buy workout clothes in the first place. The donation bin doesn't have some basketball shorts and a t-shirt? I can't do calisthenics in the leggings and top I found? You can get workout clothes for a third of that price at WalMart, so why can't my homeless character trying to survive in Genericburg?

Forgive me for going full snark. Just play and enjoy the game the way its scoped and intended.
I'm doing that. The intention seems to be to make a subpar game, if these design choices are absolutely necessary for the vision. Again, why is a porn game telling me that I'm an ugly overweight zitty mess when we all know the point is to get off on my character slutting around? That's directly contrary to the whole point of the experience. I get that it's inspired by GirlLife, but that doesn't mean that the creator is obligated to repeat that game's mistakes. You can do a slow transformation with a male MC without going out of your way to emphasize that you're playing some hideous freak at the beginning (see Perverted Education, Secretary, or many of the other slow transformation games on TFgames). The pacing isn't the issue, it's the implementation.

For the record, I do appreciate the parts of your comment I'm not directly responding to. For the most part, you've mentioned stuff that I already did or that is obvious based on other games in the genre, but I do appreciate the points on some of the NPC questlines since those are easily missed otherwise.

If you don't like to restart... you may use my cheat mod, become a man again and continue with the normal game.
