Havn't played yet, but just to name a few pitfalls for me regarding games like Girl Life, there are some mechanics that realy dont add to (my personal) enjoyment of the game. Those would be: Adding stats like hunger, need to pee, managing your fitness/weight gain.
Im my personal opinion having to literly live a life like in reality is tedious and detracts from the game in general (i would rather play a good story, then be forced to eat 3 meals a day and watch out for being overweight.) That said, most of the afore mentioned games (see OP) have cheat menu's implemented to disable some of those features, that would help to also attract players like me who like the open world, but not the life sim part. It might be a good idee to add such a cheat menu, or options to disable some of these features for those that would like to do so.
That said, i dont know (havn't played yet, will do so after this post) if those features are in there yet, so i will see. Good luck either way, Girl Life is still one of my favorite games in its genre, so looking forward to how this one develops.

I took a look through the code and... MAN! its complicated (meaning: I don't know what I'm looking at).
So many variables just to calculate the looks and weight. It is impressive to be sure, but it doesn't add anything really

Well, the game is fairly linear, lots of things are time gated. Wait until X to progress and so on.

i keep getting a syntax error whenever i enter the bathroom and i have to use the emergency exit to escape the room
I hope this game avoids the pitfalls of its spiritual predecessors.
Massive scope, lack of focus/too many branches, and eventual abandonment. I would like to see a game like this developed into a modular, open source format so its more community driven than single developers.

I love me some great 'real porn' life simulators but I hate when you have to put all the parts together yourself. I'd much rather prefer a big download with the whole package/game.
Right for anyone not entirely sure what's up in the game and don't bother checking TFG for walkthrough or the forum Mugwump uses at TFG.
so if you're clueless you might aswell treat this as your walkthrough.
for M/M content you have to stay at the abandoned campsite instead of going to the women's rescue dorms since that leads to feminisation routes. though to increase your dicksize (through domming women (there's a chance for SPH content here) you have to stay at the Fairhaven House, mind you have to risk getting feminised inorder to get that pp bigger.
for staying as a shemale, you stay at the Fairhaven House, though you need to reject the "witch" 3 times and you're locked to keeping your peepee. Afaik you can still accept the BE dream and get your first size without the risk of getting a vagina. the witch appears after a while (ingame time a few weeks or so)
if you want to transform into a woman IMMEDIATELY, you go to the medical facility and go through the Male Birth Control paid trials, you get these by asking the receptionist.
Alot of the other trials increases your feminity but you wont have to get them. There's a consequence to a few of them, like forced to wearing heels, or sensitive skin that makes you only able to wear slutty outfits, among others.
nanobot trial at third event of it, gives you a BE event where you will permanently have fake tits instead of natural looking tits. They start at C/D cup. Depending on your current tit size.
On increasing feminity you first need to accept your predicament gradually by posing in front of the mirror, and doing "girly things" outside of that, like shaving your legs and private parts. You won't be able to do it all immediately as you need to be open for it. Reading the women's magacines once will also give a slight boost.
going to the market in business district has 3 events, one of them is pseudo hypnosis event where you get a significant boost to feminity acceptance, but you will get 2 traits that will impact how your character is/acts
Doing sports like yoga gives another flexibility trait, that's linked to some masturbation events. and otherwise helps your fitness and hipsize can increase through this.
and most importantly for those who want M/M content, or M/F. Your arousal affects your feminisation, so keep it down if you want to keep it an all time low risk if you go to fairhaven to get that PP increased. You need to fuck and not get SPH'd 10 times with women to get one increase, there's a total of 4 sizes of dicks. largest size is 6 or 8cm if i remember correctly.
mind that most of the game is about feminisation and not so much M/M, it's there but not the main focus so you won't see masculine jobs and such. Right now there's a dishwasher job at hooters that leads to waitress job, odd jobs at the business district. Waitress at stripclub and stripdancer aswell depending on your choices and ofcause hooker if you're slutty enough at the red light district aswell.
To get to the stripclub and stripdancer bath you need to work at Hooters and get friendly with Melissa.
At Fairhaven you will meet a woman named Julia, she leads to a couple of baths depending on some choices you make. One as a male, one while as a woman. to start the path with her as either gender you just masturbate in the shower after having talked to her once and you're on the starting path.
You can reject her blackmailing next time that leads to a transgender therapy path, but there's barely any content on that path and locks you out of Julia path.

Nope, the creator just uses Girl life as a base in QSP and started from there making it into his own thing, with the focus of slow mtf content.
