There is so many things wrong with this game.

1) Still a lot of pictures/videos do not appear or have yet to be included.
2) Roommates with Paul & Scott. They know you are a guy, this is why Paul has you dress up as a woman to fool his friends BUT if you leave the door to the bathroom unlocked and allow Paul to see you, his is SHOCKED you have a penis. They through you out. In fact if you are a guy when you move in and then drink a "female potion" Paul & Scott wont let you in.
3) Secretary at The Big Red Company- If you have a penis they will eventually fire you. If you become a full woman and re-apply THEY STILL FIRE YOU BECAUSE THEY ACT LIKE YOU STILL HAVE A PENIS!!

Yeah, it's a buggy mess, which is one of the reasons Mugwump is scrapping the whole thing and rebuilding it in Twine.

Its not a buggy mess cause of QSP.. its a buggy mess cause of loosing track of variables and mixing up functions. That can equally be done in Twine just as much as QSP.
The only way Twine will end up "better" is if Mug ends up being a better "raw" "html coder" vs the mix that QSP is. Funny thing that QSP understands very much most of the same scripting that twine/sugarcube does. Looking at a selection of games in QSP vs Twine/Sugarcube, parts of both can look very similar in code.

So.. much like Vicindio.. moving to Twine is a misnomer. The difference is HOW its coded.. which.. again can be done very similarly if people bothered to set it up right. Tweego methods for Twine/Sugarcube, TXT2GAM with QSP.
It was much much much much much easier to SPLIT a QSP file into component parts and modify the hell out of it via the tooling available with QGEN and TXT2GAM and TEXTSPLIT/MERGE.

The same can sort of be done for Twine, but via starting to split a Twine file, its a bit harder as I have yet to find a good way for a split program to properly interpret a built twine file (even via saving as a big twee file using the Twine2 editor) into a file that can be split and then managed the same way.

The fact both can end up being managed out of a Git, as separate files for each "location/passage" - and then built back into a usable file without even opening up QGEN or Twine2 ... as long as you know how to build the functions properly, you dont need the editors, and since its raw text files, they are easy to manage out of a hosted or local Git.

I know for a fact both authors (Mug and Snake) did not bother to optimize their development setup (Later Edit: at least for QSP). Here me.. for my own self edits, bothered to do the work to make my own custom edits take MINUTES vs HOURS/DAYS to do, and cant otherwise code worth shit.

I have no idea who Snake is, but I know Mugwump has set up his dev environment using tweego, and is much much happier with the setup than with what he was using in QSP.

Snake makes Vicindio which has done the very same kind of switch over and was mentioned earlier in the thread as well, and mentions of Cleanslate in that thread as well.

At least for Twine.. Tweego IS the way to go... and thats good hes done that for the Twine versions.. but.. the same could have been done for QSP and been able to keep the more advanced UI features of QSP. Not saying via Twine & Sugarcube similar cant be done, but beyond Sugarcube's Left and Right Nav bars, would need to be coded in.

Anyways.. I think for Mug's purposes, Twine will be fine, and maybe actually better in some cases.. and sure.. now you can pretty much run the game in any browser on just about any device, vs QSP being a little limited, but for the game type CleanSlate was.. i just kinda prefered QSP presentation. I can hack the game apart and back together either way. The harder part is though.. unless Mug hands out a link to a hosted git that we can at least see the component parts.. its harder to split a created twine html than QSP, and make an updatable/mergable custom branch.

Hello,

Is there a way to configure the game to prevent periods? Though I understand it's meant to be more realistic, it's honestly not something I enjoy playing.

Or is there a variable I could modify to have them last only one day by changing said variable everytime they occur?

Thanks for any information anyone could give me.

Note: There are side effects.

Edit: I don't remember if taking the birth control pill prevents it. But give it a try.

Question: I found an ornate mirror but have no clue how to use it. Can some explain how to use it without explain what it does? I want to be surprised on the affects.

I found an ornate mirror in the mansion, it modifies the MC's femininity (adds 10 femininity). If there is another one, go visit the shaman to find out what it does and what you need to activate it.

You told me what it does which I asked not to be told and you did not tell me how to use it which was what I was looking for.

Not every scene has an action button, sometimes they are links like this or images. Just click on the linked name of the ornate mirror and that's it.

I think you are talking about different mirrors (from your spoiler). The ornate mirror I am talking about came from the vault at the masked party in the Resident area.
