If you don't have a save, your starter will be random. Or it SHOULD be at least. Please guys, post if you don't have a save for the prequel saying the name of 'your lover'.

Irony for you ... I finally deleted Clockwork Poison to clear up disk space .... this was Saturday. I had a save so I could have chosen any of them ... this is a sad day.

But I am super excited to see the sequel, I loved the first.

also, I wanted to note that I started a random, saved and then restarted several more times to see if I could just get all the girls that way ... it seems that whoever it gives you first is who you're stuck with. It gave me Maya every time. I think I restarted about 10 times, that includes exiting all the way out of the game twice.

That's right. The technical explanation for that is that the variable that controls the starter girl is persistent. That means that it's not linked to the save you're using but to the game itself, like the level of volume or the windowed/full sreen variable.

I got stuck with Chrissy... Yuck.
I wanted Maya as she was almost the only pretty one, and I liked the personality the dev gave her.


I went back to the original game and didn't see anywhere that I could input a girlfriend's name.
I didn't complete the first one as I was extremely annoyed w it toward the end.

Hi! Asking for both melodic dates and the sequel to clockwork. Will these games have pregnancy? I saw the melodic dates tag but the game has nothing with the tag so I was asking if you could clarify which will be the future tags or if this will be part of the game. Thanks!

Melodic Dates do have pregnancy in the current version. The character Jolie is very very pregnant. As for Salvation, it'll feature pregnancy but only in one of the six eventual endings.

Dann what a shame I always liked pregnancy in the games adds a lot to the story as well. Either way great games!

I didn't listen to Leah...

So I tested Ember's/Billie's ending first, and then found myself locked into that route for this game for her instead of other saves for Christine and Vic. Even if Christine's ending save was in slot 1. Hell, I didn't even save Billie's ending.

PLEASE consider letting us select our starter.

Also, are there any plans to let us get back some of the other starters as operators? Even if not the main one? At the VERY least, I can think recruiting a medic (Maya), or one of two former Militia Commanders (Billie, Christine) would be PRETTY useful. Not sure what Laura, Zoe, or Vic could do. But you never know.

Okay, with that out of the way, really cool game so far. I liked the first one all right, but this one has the potential to really surpass it. I'm looking forward to seeing how it plays out.

Apart from some easter eggs and references to the prequel, there'll be two old friends in this sequel, but not the main characters of Clockwork Poison.
