Ren'Py Completed Clockwork Poison [v1.0.1] [Poison Adrian]

I've just finished the game (v0.7) and tried to do everything I could, I think I've finished with 70 days.
The game is great, it does have many and many hours of content, lots of girls with cool scenes, and a few choices here and there.

I really can't wait for v0.8 to continue the history, and to get more girls.
One think that I enjoyed were the different places that we could visit, and the videos from the computer too, I hope we get more of these in the future version.

Here some things that I think that would make the game better overall:

- More choices/Choices matter
I think that more choices in some situations, or even choices that actually matter (sometimes) would be pretty fun;like changing some aspects of the map, or how some girls, or even the militia look at you.

- Instead of fucking the new girl all the time/Better use for the Cash
Almost every time we can insta-fuck the new girl that we've met, so I thought that instead of that, would be cool to buy them some gifts before going to the point, I don't think all the girls would need that since they're all kinda horny at first, but some of them would make sense. And money isn't a problem at all later on the game, so a system like that would make good use of the cash.

- A better Hungry/Energy system
I think the hungry thing is only bad at first, later on I was with 2 pages of food and didn't need to use at all, somehow. I just stopped going after food and just went to the quests instead.

Anyway, the game is pretty good and I recommend for anyone who's interested. The story isn't bad at all also, kinda interesting and I want to see how it will finish.

Thanks for your suggestions too, they're actually great and they show you really lived the story of the game. I wanna make a few points about them, though:

- More choices/Choice matter
In the first place, Clockwork Poison was going to be more of a date sim, instead of an adventure, but when I start coding it, I felt like doing this kind of game better. I like to think that the game is a sandbox adventure and not so linear but, either way, it's going to become a full sandbox game, since, if you followed the plot, you sure know the MC has to make a choice in order to skip town one way or another. That will be when the game will take several paths and will be different for each player!

- Gifts to the girl
The world of Clockwork Poison is a (kind of) post-apocaliptic world. That means, among other things, that money is of no use anymore. There are exceptions, such as Kelly's workshop or, later on (not in v0.8), another person that will sell things. Other than those, the truth is that it'd not make much sense to go to the mall and even grab a teddy bear without having to pay for it in order to later give it to a girl, because the material value of the gift would be zero. That being said, I totally agree with you that the relationship between the MC and the girls is so sudden sometimes. In that sense, I liked how Hope is build as a character.

- Hunger system
Totally agree. There are a lot of people who complain about the hunger system and I don't like it either. I should rework it and it will definitely not be like that in my next game.

Hello, friends!
This is a quick public update just to tell you Clockwork Poison v0.8 is almost OUT for everyone, after one month available only for Patrons!
My Russian translator informed me that he is finishing the translation of v0.8 in a few days, which means that, as soon as I have it, I will release the public version!
About next version v0.9, I have already started developing it three weeks ago and it's taking shape! Since this is the first version with several events that are triggered depending on the player choices, it will take time to finish its developing. In any case, I estimate that I may finish by the end of April.

Clockwork Poison v0.8 is OUT for everyone, after being available a whole month for +5$ patrons!
This version features the following:
- Added two new characters
- Added three new locations
- Added many new scenes for both new and already known characters
- Fixed a bug where some players could not get supplies or train stats from a certain point on
- Fixed a bug where Stella didn't show up on the girls menu for games started in recent versions
- Fixed a bug where Claire's quest about talking with her about a job at the hotel didn't disappear for some players
- Fixed some typos
- Changed the game file structure, so it will be easier to release a hotfix in case there is a bug
