The fuck? you are kidding right? no new scenes for NPC's? no variations for already captured monsters (Base, Matriarch, Petite)? No new sub storylines?
If what you consider as "scenes" are the HD one where it's large like the one u do with ur farm's monster then nope, there won't be any new ones for those, only the small pixelated ones

it's still in beta, but at least it's VASTLY different than when it first came out. at least now you can bone mons at the start of the game again rather than going through the dungeon to unblock some rubble
So no breeding scenes with monster variants and no scenes of your monsters breeding with each other (like in the old breeding season), am im understanding this correctly?
Correct. However, Breeding Season have no scenes even between most usual monsters, like catgirls and wolves.

Haven't played the game in a while, i dont think the game is terrible gameplay-wise but in my opinion they made a horrible mistake by deviating from the original concept of the game, a breeding simulator, for a farming game.
People were originally driven to this game only for the sex, no amount of ''gameplay updates/mechanics'' will ever change that.
Look, im no game dev but even i can tell that this project took a very wrong turn on adult content

Look at Fobs, Kincaid, Princess & Conquest, Future Fragments, etc. The devs of those games understood that sex was what gave them peoples attention in the first place, so they never toned it down or stopped adding more sex to their games. It really pains me to see a game with such potential be wasted on this.
I don't care about old drama about the devs, i just want porn games to be good and to have as much content as regular games... the games i mentioned at first show me that porn game devs CAN really achieve that if they want to and have passion for what they do

Also whats the deal with devs getting into big teams for developing their games? a lot of really good games have only 1-2 people working on it and they keep their games updated constantly, you don't need the extra hands if you're not gonna use them properly.
It's to sell the illusion of them working hard on it, also more people = more money needed, so they can point their patreons that way when the sheep asks where is the money going. There is also the thing where they don't want to work on the game and just fuck around and get the money anyway as we can see it here. The thread started like five n half years ago and the "progress" could be outdone by a team of indie devs. Fucking hollow knight was made with a smaller team in less than 3 years.

Surprise. I know of two other projects Schwig/S-Purple worked on; BroQuest and Breeding Season. Both of them caught massive scope creep after he became attached and in both cases he eventually got bored and quit, but not before crippling/killing them by pulling all of his art and making legal threats. Cloud Meadow turning out like this isn't surprising. Dude is pure scum.

To be fair, there are games where you come for the porn and stay for something else, though IME that something else is 100% of the time the plot. My examples are MIST, where the mystery actually got me invested, Ravager, where the lore and characters got me invested, What a legend, where the humorous story got me invested, and probably a few more but these three come to mind right now. Can't think of any where the actual gameplay got me invested though. So, yeah, I'm not sure porn game devs should focus too much on the gameplay.
There's also Monster Girl Island where the dev focused a bit too much on the lore, trying to tell some epic fantasy story about world at war and shit... kind of boring compared to my above examples, and a real waste given how amazing the 3D porn was.

Yes both of those did the same with me.
Katawa Shoujo I went for the porn and got totally blown away by the 5 different stories in the game/VN.

oh wow... it still on alpha? idk but progress really slow for 2d game, but yeah there is minimum changes probably my version still good for next year

Milking would be an understatement, I supported the Patreon for a while thinking that maybe new content will come it was a full year of fucking bug fixes and just updates on WIP shit. I mean stuff looks cool but I don't get play any of it so what the fuck is the point. I bought it on Steam early access and gonna let it collect dust until they fucking finish the game.
Even their 2022 roadmap is the same shit with a few sentences saying if they do all that stupid so called fixing and balancing they might have time to work on some new sex content which we have been asking for so long. That may happen if somehow they don't say their game is not yet more stable so they need one more year of pointless fixes.
Honestly so many porn games I want to add more content, look man I can deal with a broken game which is full of content rather than a empty game which is just fixing shit just for the sake of fixing it.
