I'm a little late to the party, but why is this game so hated?
Also, in addition to what people above wrote, this game came into existence by the main artist, s-Purple, cannibalising the preivous game he worked on, fucking over his previous dev team and then claiming copyright on his art to prevent them from continuing the old game. The old devteam lead wasn't blameless by any means, but the reason the old game crashed and burned like it did was 90% S-Purple's fault. And I'll make sure that won't be forgotten.
