Sorry for breaking some "poor indie dev" cult but from my perspective as a client, who paid for a released(1.0, ready, done, complete, full, etc...) game, I personaly don't give a damn about their internal processes. I bought a game - and I see incomplete product full of bugs, contradictions and no plot. I've read some comments and find out, they got all the money they asked years before I even knew the game existed - yet failed to fulfill their promises. Publisher bullied poor devs? Then why the fuck such contract was signed at all? "Small poor indi studio" with almost 100(!!!) people and a pile of money couldn't find a decent lawyer to do some shit regarding contracts with publishers? Don't make me laugh!
And one more thing about poor devs and bully publisher - who was that clown who promised console version? Publisher? Nope - it was a shiteating dev. And he/she promised it knowing in advance that the console version is not started developing process yet. And will not be developed by that same dev even.
TLDR - no, I won't let myself be fed shit with my own money. There is thousands of ways to adress problems, and they choose to lie and to ignore what their fans says. So - they will go fuck themselves without my money. Game industry is big, and has a big cesspit where shitty devs like that rots silently.
