Isn't this grounds for a lawsuit? Funny as it may be to sue a developer of a porn game, an example needs to be made in order to scare future indie developers from seeing the porn industry as a means to make quick cash rather than a place to produce art that both the consumers and the developer themselves enjoy.Just throwing my two-cents in this; I got the game recommended to me on steam and was just about to buy it - but then I googled it and read the horror stories on this thread. I typically LIKE to buy indie games to support the developer(s) but Im not supporting some hentai star citizen nonsense. Now Im just here to watch the trashfire
If that happened to me, I guarantee its happened to other people. The real problem is most people cant be bothered to look into their games before purchasing
Pirates are going to pirate, but another way to revolt against a developer who becomes malicious is by pirates refusing to update their uploads. This may hurt us a bit, but this may hurt them more since this damages their exposure and a game that isn't getting pirated shows that it isn't worthy of attention. I'm accepting toward this being called a bad idea, though this goes to show how indie developers, both porn and regular— had walked all over us like the Triple A industry.
