Cloud Meadow is a far larger project than breeding season was. it was primarily focused on breeding, while this game has, in my opinion, to many branches of gameplay.
Personally I feel like this is more of an advanced art-school demo project than a game. While it does indeed focus on variety of gaming subgenres neither of them seem fulfilling. Breeding Season concentrated its experience on single interesting activity and that made it somewhat good even while it was in early development stage. In general I think that game was more game-like than Cloud Meadow.
I like animations in Cloud Meadow but in the end I dislike the current game:
- it feels too basic and gets boring for all of its subgenres very fast. Just after seeing all animations I felt like it's not worth playing anymore.
- there is too much art at once and it feels overwhelming in the city and underwhelming in dungeons;
- they cut out incest and loli from the game.
- the interface, especially breeding UI, is annoying: it is small, inconvenient and feels clunky overall.
PS: Maybe it's something with my installation but 2.03.3F completely broken shopping mechanic, giving 0 price for every item in game.
