So, what's the problem with the game. I played it a couple of years ago when the last floor was the sixth, I liked it, but then I somehow forgot about the game. Since then, there seems to be more content in terms of dungeons, but I can't help but notice the rather low ratings, I didn't seem to notice anything in the discussion. So what's the problem?
The creator milks his patrons. Look at the changelogs, it's just tiny patches. He barely ever actually adds new content because he's realized people will give him tons of money either way. It's been going on for years.

The stuff currently in the game is pretty good, but it's obvious the game will likely be in a perpetually stagnant, unfinished state. At least until the Patreon starts to dry up. Then he'll probably put out a hasty 1.0 and move on to a new project.

For a bunch of reason. If I remember well the main dude on that team was part of another one creating a similar game with more content. He left after fucking them over. Just to create that scam. It's sad seeing that shit here honesty, free promotions for him when a bunch of other actually try and promote what they do here...

To be fair it's not like he's making money off the people here. Yeah it's free promotion, but Cloud Meadow is already pretty infamous and most of the people on here either don't have the funds or are aware of the scummy practices, so I don't think many people are going to be coming over to the Patreon from this site.

Even one buck is more than that dude deserves. And if people still ask it still mean he can get at least one dude paying him. Heck it's been alive for a while and I don't think it's just because a bunch of people forgot to unsub or because of some hardcore fanboys. For the money part, I at least and I hope a bunch of others use F95 to look for good games and support them.

Basically nothing has changed, this "game" exists as a way to milk idiots.
The curse of Breeding Season to never get a complete game in the genre.

And because of shit like this, there aren't any or many good projects these days that receive good treatment or trust. The dev of this game literally destroyed a project that was already on its way to the midpoint and shut down to make his own version just to be the only one milking people.

And worst of all, his excuse for not having animations for different "combos" is no longer an excuse. Literally, if "it's that big a deal," he can let the minor scenes be done by AI and the important ones by hand, but no... literally no new content for years.

If one wonders why humanity is already doomed, it's because of people like this dev and idiots who give their money to the first thing they see, as also ended up happening with the dev of Monster Girl Island. Big promises, and in the end, they dumped them after "farming" more than enough.
