I think "The Company", "Son of a Bitch", and "Paradise Found" are all using real porn and on Patreon. So they are making money doing these games.

I made the game as a proof-of-concept.... I thought VN games could use a bit more video and a bit less grinding. I wanted it to be a 'pop' VN: interactive porn with a bit of depth.

Unfortunately there would only be a sequel if I could get paid to do one... it was a lot of work!

I see people getting paid on Patreon doing games with real-porn photos. (I'm not too sure how you can get away with that). But if someone wanted to make a game like Coercion they'd actually have to produce porn! And you would struggle to sell this type of subject matter anywhere...

Does anyone know software other than Renpy to create a game like this? The only other format I've seen is 'branching video' where something like this is possible. Would a game using HTML be able to handle it?

TBH, I'm suprised Japan hasn't created something like this... a JAV put into a simple text-based game. And Life-Selector in the US is too lightweight.

Anyway, I'm glad the game was enjoyed!

Edit: I looked at RPGMaker too... Unfortunately too complicated but it'd be great to combine RPG, with the story elements, with photos & video!

Please use Renpy for the sequel as well. This was the best real-porn VN I played. :love:

(Sorry I know this is a several year old game but just recently started replaying it). Apparently the issue with the videos on Mac is that they're in H.264. If you reencode them to WebM then the videos show up like they should.

Can't remember exactly, the options screen is missing a lot of options. Also was just grousing about the lack of onscreen menu. The skip button, save button, etc. I know you can use keyboard shortcuts but that doesn't work so great on my android tablet.

k i used that but i actually have no idea how to continue on some sequences...as game ends after certain cycle and u start another one for another girl.
so according to the gallery i miss about 40% after following that w/th
...
oh i also found that save.

Thanks a lot!

Currently no plans for a sequel - it is a huge amount of work. I'd love to find out how I can make even a bit of money from something like this.... even if I made the pron myself! lol

Yeah, I get that. I do some translations and reimplementations of games and would love to figure out a way to get paid, but don't feel very comfortable doing that given the current state of copyright law. I even make a point to not include any assets from the original game and actually require files from the original game to work. Regardless, it could be argued that the only thing I'm doing is "copying" the script and "modifying" the original by translating it to English thereby breaching copyright.

There's also the matter of even finding a platform that allows something that is both pornographic and in a legally gray area.

Yea.... you'd actually have to make a company in some country to sell thi type of stuff legally.... oh, and also produce the actual porn. Shame because VNs are a far more fun product than most porn out there
