So I've been playing a good bit and noticed people asking for guides so I thought I'd compile everything I've learned so far for myself and others. My file now seems to be corrupted so anything further I'll need to test later.
1. *Edits have been added where new information is provided.* 2. *The creator mentioned some of the things covered here in a response and I have included edits to relevant info. Never imagined them seeing my little guide but I can't deny it makes me a little happy to know it was.*
3. *I have now started to catch up to where my file was before it was corrupted, I will find the use for the Red Book.

How Exactly am i supposed to get past the right scanner and get the C-Alpha recipe to stop being a monster and gain the ability to go past scanners if I'm a monster already?

Looks like it tried to load the dialogue script from the lab dream, the one with Kari around. Have never seen this happen before.
Try loading an earlier save?
I've tried loading the save multiple times but it's still the same. I have to start a new game right?

So after reading through like a dozen pages of this thread I'm just gonna say "outside of decontamination, there's no 'end' to the lab segment, at least not yet." Yet to stay in the dream long enough to make paint in the manor so I'm still looking out for that (ironically I spend so much time in the lab despite opening doors supposedly waking you up faster). So for now I'm gonna be happy that I did the lab's password thing and get MC to wake up.

Coming back to this game after the story had been implemented + Playing through Ukuzala first is funny because seeing Yuri and co. in the context of the main game was like "hold on I know that girl!" so it is gonna be my headcanon for a while that Ukuzala is either "post canon" or a parallel universe where MC was always Anne lol

Any way to undo the jessica transformation? Once you complete the room puzzle it becomes impossible to craft paint without crossing the mirrors unless you start at the lab to pick a flashlight

This release brings Coffee Story up to speed to Ukuzala's improvements while fixing the soft-locks from the WIP build.
It also aims to loosen some of the mechanics and make them more forgivable as well as removing enforced story progression.
Some of the following features were already added in the WIP build. Some of those features were also changed, i.e soundtracks are different, mechanics are different etc.
Please note due to some drastic changes loading a legacy save file may cause softlocks or other unintended behavior.
I've tested the changes by doing 2 runs to story completion and some puzzle completion. Unfortunately, I don't have the time or manpower to test fringe cases, irregular behavior and deviations, but there are no softlocks as long as you don't try to cause one.

Sorry to say the forest dream area is not done.
I've decided to close the loop instead of leaving out a 4th area for a future release.
This set back development a bit as I would like to review the other 2 areas to make the experience whole.
This decision came because it's demoralizing to continue development while knowing the mechanics and puzzles will have to change again to accomodate a future area.
It's also become unmanageable to plan for puzzles months, if not years, in advance, while implementing content that won't be accessible for a very long time.(People to this day ask me what the colored orbs are for etc...) I simply cannot wrap my head around the level of complexity necessary to account puzzles that far in the future area.

It's best to work with whatever amount you're comfortable with, I don't think anybody is gonna complain about having 1 less or more map. For me the main draw of this game is the story and the pixel anims, so whether there are 3 or 4 maps doesn't bother me, I'm sure most people would agree.

I'm personally just waiting on story progress since that's where the spicy stuff is lol. Ukuzala was a promising sign for how the main story may play out. IMO the story around the spicy (and freaky) stuff and how characters react to it is the main attraction, you're pretty good at writing it.

do as you want and stay happy.
personally, i feel like i am missing out some puzzle. it demoralize me, so i decided to wait for a guide. problem solved, i am happy again.
so the point, dont demoralize yourself. do that way, what you like or feel the best
your game is very unique. in positive way.
