Just hoping to let Unniex know there's a softlock in the most recent version. After the first (tutorial) dream if you remove your clothes they get stored, but you can't access your closet.

It also happens that when you try a few several times it gets stuck and you can't come out of the closet

Which program does it open with Notepad++? and what you indicate is put at the end of the line?
yes you can use notepad++ and you just replace segments with different values, do not add, just replace, however it works like i showed only in v20241023v1, other builds looked different and newer ones might too, you can change more than what items you want in your inventory or where do you want to be, might as well up. a list of maps

it's ["topx",8.0] and ["botx",8.0] for bottom which are max, while 1.0 might be flat or 0.0, i forgot, but you need to search for your instance, it's usually instance(100001) the one you refer to which is the main player i guess, but in dreams it can change to instance(100016) or others, be mindful that important npcs have their instance too, so don't go making Yuri busty ok, also there's a ["backup_topx",[0.0,0.0,0.0,0.0,0.0,0.0,0.0,0.0,0.0,0.0]] line to remember the size(once level switches), but again, i forgot which one of those 0.0 is the player, you can find out in your save

Yup . . . Buggy-As-Hell

Load game, panel opens, "New Game" highlighted, click that . . . nothing happens :oops: .

Had to click "Close" (red "X"), to get out .

Waste of download .

To the Dev : unniex

No Disrespect meant . . . I have played some of the previous versions before, with less "buggy-ness" .
But, I was not expecting, to not even be able to get into the game, what-so-ever . . .
While others seem to, at-the-least, can get in and play, . . . (before they find " Bugs" :cool:) .

question have i soft locked myself? i didnt go to with kari shopping on the gym day and now im not progressing the awake story. i can hang out with kari but it doesnt seem like i can activate whatever needs to be done for teh sleepover to happen. should i start again from the top or is there something im missing?

edit: i did softlock myself. if kari asks you to hang you are able to ignore her and go home and if you do that the game gets a bit confused

I really wish someone would pin a walkthrough on the First Page because this game can be very confusing without a guide. Plus a guide would also help us to somewhat determine whether our game session got bugged and/or soft locked, etc.

I don't think so. This game is so confusing and without some guide it is difficult to figure it out. That's why I really wish that somebody would post a walkthrough.

is their a way to remove the cage? i got it somehow and now i cant go through the door in the labs it keeps saying i have an unknown creature.

Gonna need a walkthrough on this. Even when I make progress I hit a wall like with the rabbit suit I can't remove, or lady Jessica's outfit doesn't spawn in. I eventually just gave up.

Like the other dream areas it looks pretty, has good animation, but it's such a chore to play through. Everything is so annoying to figure out and it doesn't feel rewarding when you do. This goes for the main game as well, but there's way too much downtime when a dream ends before you're able to try again, especially if you were making progress and now have to redo everything (bonus annoyance if you had to rely on RNG to get there in the first place, like the manor).

If this area was a part of the main game I wouldn't try to get through it again, I'd look up a walkthrough. Even the "tree" you can talk to is invisible, and I only discovered it existed by wandering around mashing Z.

For example, when the dream hub is added, maybe you could unlock new features based on puzzle completion. Like completing the manor gets you Jessica's mirror that you can use to customize your appearance. Or the lab gets you a gadget that lets you manipulate pregnancy mechanics (Or even make yourself pregnant lol). Something like that. A carrot at the end of the stick to say "yay you did it".

The problem isn't lost on me. Here's how I envisage this working:
-Lesser puzzle/areas/exploration will yield colored orbs, these will function as currency for visual changes and gallery-like functionality. Though I'm sure I've talked about this already.
(older areas have some of these all over the place, though their location and types were mostly filler and will change)
-Each area will have one intermediate difficulty sequences that will produce a story item and progress the plot. I probably shouldn't talk more about that. (new area already has a filler item for this, you won't need them immediately but it will be helpful to know how to get them with ease, which brings up the next point)
-Difficult, more involved sequences target to simplify existing exploration, allowing the player greater access to the area. (i.e getting Lv4 card would let you check the password, which in future lets you operate the console without any card, allowing to skip several sequences and circumvent a number obstacles. It also lets you view some scp-like logs at the moment, though I don't know how much that qualifies as a carrot.)
In the Looping Woods dream, this is achieved gradually as you learn about the mechanics more. At first you have to get the fragile key from the slime, then you find out where another one is hidden, then you find a use for both of them, then you might decide you no longer need both of them.

Several other considerations:
-Nightmares will be locked initially,and will be unlocked when you (fail to) accomplish certain things throughout the dreams, after which they'd be added to the pool. I don't intend to make these excessively hidden, and just casually progressing should yield results.
-I've restructured how body changes function. Most passive changes revert the shape to normal for both waking version and dream version with 1 highest delta difference being overwritten. However certain encounters, actions or sequences now increase the minimum size threshold. So as an example interacting with the Squidrabbit will increase the minimum hip size limit 1, and won't go lower upon waking up.
Adding an expandable ceiling threshold might also be a valid reason to see through stuff, though I'm not sure how I feel about that.

Hopefully this collect-them-all approach will add some entertainment.

These trees are visible at night. I thought it would be helpful to make them invisible during the day, rather than deactivating them entirely, thus letting players that know skip the day-night shift process. I didn't consider someone would just go around press z everywhere. Other than that I don't know what to tell you. A walkthrough removes gameplay altogether.

I would not use a walkthrough to remove gameplay, I would use a walkthrough to remove downtime. Unfortunately I do not have the time needed to ponder over the game for hours and hours. Maybe if there was some sort of animation skips I'd be able to do that, but everything in the game takes so long that I simply do not have the time to commit to solving it. In the regular game it got to the point that I was spamming the needle whenever RNG didn't give me the dress, and then I'd need to sit through the nightmares, and then sometimes I'd have to go to the dark shadow to get sent back to the regular world. After that I'd have to see the character fall asleep, then I'd have to hope I appeared in the manor again, and if I didn't then I would use the needle, sit through the nightmare, and so on.

A walkthrough would at least tell me that I'm not wasting my time (especially since you don't need to follow it from the start to the finish, only to solve your current problem), and this is doubly so in the lab where I eventually gave up trying to get the bunny alien off of my character. There's so little evidence that what I'm doing is correct that it feels like I'm making zero progress at all, especially when everything resets except for the bad state. This also meant a lot more uses of the needle, more nightmares, and more animations where you wake up then have to fall back asleep again.

EDIT: I forgot to mention it takes SO LONG to walk everywhere. That, combined with mechanics that the player might not even know exist (like draining your stomach in the lab) compound the feeling of spinning your wheels and going nowhere.

I really do want to like your game, for the record. I wouldn't have tried to come back to it if I didn't, it's just that it's so tedious to play it simply isn't enjoyable.
