According to the explanation Rin provided the needle will reset any transformation but you will keep your knowledge so it shouldn't affect you progress. Since you still have the collected pages you should be fine but I would recommend not using the needle unless you are stuck. I haven't used the needle myself so I'm not sure what exactly is affected by the reset.
How do you typically end the dream you're at then? do you just run into monsters until its over? or do I bring coffee from the real world

Every time you open a door or use an item your white bar increased (when full the dream is over), using everything on everything (when applicable) is usually enough to end the dream. Furthermore, lab/mansion have 3 coffees that are reachable unless you try to soft lock yourself by being stupid and in the forest you can rest on the sofa. I usually have the issue of not having enough time especially now that there is a limit how much you can decrease the bar using pills, tablets and med-kits

It can definitely be an issue especially in the forest where you have to spend some of it to identify mushrooms. I think I finished most of the complicated puzzles though so I'm all set on that front especially now that the dev helped me out. I still want to figure out how to get all of the different nightmares and how to open that door on the bottom of the lab

The door at the bottom of the Lab area leads to more puzzles and the code for it can be found in the Lab. It's the one code that I memorized (there is another door even further down that is unfinished for now). There is an easy way to unlock all the nightmares (I unlocked all of them except one since I'm on feminization path and that one will force you onto gender swap path), if you want to know how check the spoiler below.

Is it meant to be this code here? I'm trying to use it but it doesn't work View attachment 5526147

The code '25483' does not work for a very good reason, as mentioned many times by other posters in this thread.

The above code was a temporary pin, meaning the intended user (Dr. Brown) had already used it and has changed it to a new code, as mentioned in the image you posted.
"Please change it to a new 5 digit pin as soon as possible."
The next line is that to not use 'consecutive integers' again, since it breaches security protocols (or is a security risk, in other words).

Consider what kind of password that is 5 digits long, is a security risk to use, and is also consecutive integers?
You can search the internet for what specific passwords are unsafe to use, if you still do not understand the issue.

So how are you supposed to enter the room in the south lab area, with the 'new' (technically old) enemy? I don't mean the password door, I figured that one out eventually. I only got inside that room with the plasma rifle, since there didn't seem to mention any kind of keycard. I also wasted some ammo and couldn't open the other door all the way to the end of the hall, past the door that isn't developed yet. What's the method? Also is there actually some kind of puzzle involved with the items inside that room?

As mentioned in the note and previous post Brown used consecutive integers before and probably several times since he was warned, think about it or check the spoiler.

It's so damn confusing. The time limit in the dream also sucks. I wish there was a guide wiki like Degree of Lewdity.

Is there any way to keep your breast expansion/the futa parasite into the waking world?

Some of the dialogue seems to imply that you can get some permanent changes in the real world based off of stuff that happens in the dream but I haven't really encountered that.

Also disappointed that I didn't keep the first transformation I had. I liked the first look my protag had after returning to the waking world and then the next night when the plot progressed talking with Rin during the part where you choose your hair removes that figure.

Increasing max body shape limits is part of game progression, connected to purple orbs + the mirror in your room, plus some permanent size boosts for completing achievements.

But I'm pretty sure its meant to be a gradual thing either way, like as long as your size is either bigger or smaller than what you went to sleep as, you're gonna advance one step in either direction when waking up, at least from what I remember. I don't think anything else can come with you, the game is more focused on bringing stuff into the dreams than out of them.

Thanks for the help, I figured that I needed to progress more to do more as I had started being able to interact with the mirror to imagine, but even after boosting top 3 times it didn't seem to have a noticeable change on me so I was a little confused. I guess I need to keep going to really see the effects.

Yeah, the mirror doesn't change your size, it only changes your potential max limit in the real world. It's like upgrading how much gold you can carry in a game, its not actually getting free gold.

There are 2 things at play here, the maximum possible real world size which is capped by the thresholds and the actual real world size. Whenever you enter the dream your real world sizes will transfer into the dream and when you wake up your real world sizes will shift toward the size you had in dream before you woke up (not using the needle). Threshold determine how big your real word size can be so if they are low even if you max out your assets in dream there will be no change.

If I remember right you need 4 Dissonance (purple orbs) to increase 1 threshold and you can gain dissonance by talking to people but only once per topic so no farming is possible. Also, not all topics provide dissonance and the amounts varies and some can only be accessed once (you can miss on the dissonance) while others can be re-visited allowing you to chose different options and still gain the dissonance you missed.

There is also an option to focus on the mirror in the dream house and this will only change the sizes in the dream not the thresholds (used to get the sizes needed for quest requirements)
