Now let's be honest. Updates used to come quickly, one every week. But recently it always takes at least a month. If you say something on Patreon you get a lot of complaining and the threat of a ban. I'm in contact with a lot of other people there and we think he just wants to drag it out to make a little more money, which is definitely not the right thing to do.

The hell you talking about I have checked updates are pretty frequent most about a week part on the discord and the patreon is updating the message so NOT spamming the email with release updates and there is also the whole discord too and I haven't seen someone get threatened to be banned

Let's be honest. The cast of characters has also increased tremendously since Day 1 of the game, and as such the branching stories as well. Obviously that'll take more time now than the beginning releases. How anyone can think otherwise is completely unrealistic.

We see this happen for many games. Whenever the cast expands updates are slower / feel like less happens because people want to spend time with their favourite characters, and to spend time with all the characters equally takes time. An unfortunate side-effect of having a broad and lovable cast of hotties and I can't think of a way around it.

But seriously, dude's working on two games on top of whatever day job(s) they got going on. Food takes time to cook, especially with subscribers suggesting what ingredient he adds next and the world literally burning down around us. Major political upheavals in real life might have had some effect on the script of Power of Will, so who knows if rewrites are in the works. And to top it all off it's the holidays.

Let's be honest, people love to bitch and complain about anything and everything. G28 could be updating this game weekly or monthly and people would just find something else to complain about.

My opinion? They should focus on one game instead of splitting time between 2. When he finishes one game, then he can finish the other. It's just better that way all around.

You can't expect a creative job to produce more output just because you're spending more time on it. Some writers also write two different kinds of novels at the same time; sometimes, they need to shift their focus to inspire creativity.

Alright it's kind of stretched far out question whichever character we youngify in game ... would it make more sense to have an option to switch between the young and old or new playthrough will make more sense ?

I do believe the choice to use real porn stuff was a deliberate decision in the design of the game. That by itself limits the actual ability to youngify certain characters, as there is simply not enough material for all of them or it isnt available in a decent quality.

yeah, some people will always have something to complain about. So obviously what matters is not the complaining, but whether the complaints themselves are valid.
And when it comes to update speed on a creative project, no -- there is no valid complaint. It takes me time to figure out what I want to do, and that's ignoring the other projects that I'm working on. I'm sure a lot of people here would want me to just work on College Daze and that alone, but that would not allow me to continue existing.

You're on a website that has hundreds of thousands of games for you to peruse while you wait for my next update. Maybe you think "but we don't want those *other* games! we want *yours*! yours is just so much better" Okay, well take a moment and fucking think. Why might that be?

Do you... think it's because I take time on the stuff I write? Do you think.... that maybe patience allows me to pour extra time and effort into those random branches you find after your fiftieth replay?

Or maybe you think "hey you know what, i will check out a different game in the meantime, thanks!" in which case, thank you too. You're an actual person capable of thought and I congratulate you on playing something else until my next release comes out.

Or maybe you think that despite being unable to even properly install the game on your own, you're still entitled to share your opinion on how I should run my own projects. In that case, nothing I can say will help you.
