Why is there no female protagonist option?
Probably the same reason there's no male/male content; either it didn't interest the dev, or the dev thought there wouldn't be enough demand for it. This would be proven correct with their second game, where lack of interest from Patreon patrons caused them to drop development on the female route entirely.

For this game specifically, it wasn't made for that, and ultimately wouldn't work. Later the Dev made a second game called Power of Will, and wanting to appease the people who wanted a female protagonist, made it so there was an option at the start to choose your gender. However all people did was complain, so the dev shut down the female route.

You want to play a game with a female protag, then find a game with a female protag. There's absolutely no point in adding this to a game that's over five years old with the conclusion in sight and/or having a dev add something that's not a part of his vision for his project. Might as well walk into a hardware store asking for ice cream.

Or maybe it's just the dev isn't the best storyteller and he's a man that's from experience we truly don't understand the woman psyche hence why a female protagonist created by a man won't work you would need a female's mind create a female main character

Every time I try to write a woman, my gnarled lumberjack fingers end up typing reviews of steak houses. A thick fog of testosterone keeps me from seeing anything wrong with this.

(also fuck you G28's a great storyteller)

It's a porn game, not even the male characters are (or need to be) realistic. The characters just have to be interesting enough for their sex scenes to be hot.

Every time I try to write a woman, ...
Every time a porn game dev tries to write a male mc, it ends up with the description of a 30 years old super horny pubescent. "Oh, I've just seen a glimpse of tits, and I got mega hard. And now I'm seeing an ass, and I am even more mega harder!"

So, why not? Can't be worse.

I think it’s a bit of an oversimplification to say men can’t write convincing female protagonists. Plenty of great examples exist in books and media like Éowyn in Lord of the Rings, Clarisse in Fahrenheit 451, or Matilda in Matilda.

Writing for adult games is obviously different, but the real issue is usually whether the writer treats the character as a full person instead of a cliché. And honestly, plenty of male devs struggle to write male characters without making them sound like horny teenagers, so it’s not just a female character problem
