As to the harem, it really boils down to what you consider a harem. You can have a number of the LI's with a FWB status. There's no formalized commitment towards them just being with the MC, although they never talk about seeing other people that I've recall.

Imo Harem is when everyone okay with mc fooling around with other LIs and no hard feeling yet there couple of issues for example Emily case,fwb is fine tbh just y'know it would be good if there are no consequences later on

As for pregnancy i think it's good idea i mean not for all LIs but some LIs like Chloe,Lauren,Nora or other girls with Motherhood vibes I mean some girls like Aubrey obviously isn't mother materials

There is a variable named "harem_mode."
No clue what it is for.
A harem doesn't suit this game.

I can't see any LIs being on board with it except for Riley or Autumn.
Very out of character for everyone else and would ruin immersion.

It would have been nice if the MC could be a player longer with promiscuous baddies and the FWB status was utilized better.
There should be more dialogue if the MC has a girlfriend but is having a fling with a FWB.
Even a few extra lines would increase immersion.

Sucks how so many scenes are girlfriend status exclusive now.
No reason why some of the Chloe/Riley/Lindsay/Aubrey scenes couldn't have been FWB.

Lame how Riley ends FWB if Lauren is your girlfriend because she had no problem with it before.
Same with Aubrey.
She is neck and neck with Amber in wildness, then all of a sudden becomes noble and backs off if the MC has a girlfriend.

Her development didn't justify such a drastic change so quickly.
At the latest point in the game, the most girlfriends the MC can have are 3?
One Chick sorority member, Lauren, and Penelope.

Penelope joining the Deers means that she'll most likely find out about Lauren from Autumn.
The MC may have to choose between Penelope and Lauren soon.
No strong indication of a Chick finding out about Penelope.
Lauren does have links to Aubrey and Lindsay because of her clothing endeavor.

VNs with strong characters I care about, I'll stick with one LI per path.
The LIs are pretty basic here, so I enjoyed roleplaying as a player MC and making a mess.

That's why this has lost a lot of its appeal in recent episodes, by nullifying FWB status as inconsequential, and the consequences of being caught cheating are barely acknowledged after a LI becomes a ex-girlfriend.

They go from ex-girlfriend to friend super quickly, like nothing ever happened.
Previous relationship status is never brought up again and forgotten completely.
That's no fun. There is a reset rather than real consequences. Not even an ounce of drama between LIs.

Just speculation on my part, but after 40+ years of software development I'd make an educated guess that that harem variable is for testing all the exclusive path scenes more easily. If I'm right, that's probably also the source of all the shitty logic that keeps breaking the game...

Regarding "harem_mode," that makes sense.

Agree about Riley.
She didn't give up so easily with Aubrey, so why with Lauren?
No logic there.

She is always declaring her love for unconventional relationships.
She gets mad if you disagree with her when watching that movie with Aubrey.
She is upset when Aubrey rejects such notions.

I experienced the Chloe/Aubrey situation as well.
It's a cop-out and Mary-suing Aubrey, that she didn't know about Chloe/MC's relationship.
She had no problem cheating with the MC on the plane if dating Lauren at that point in time.

Now, she is Mary-sued and cares about sleeping with Chloe's boyfriend?

It would have been more true to her character to get a thrill out of that situation in the change room, knowing Chloe was next door, and could potentially get caught.
