Not bad, but why not just use the built-in denoiser under "filtering"? Also you gotta understand - when you say the time depends on amount of characters, you gotta appreciate the difference between software and hardware rendering. That scene above which took 20 minutes would take about 30 seconds on hardware, and thats not on a high end card.

For Eyes in Render it Lana green eyes i know they are wrong but in the dark no one knows :whistle:

Pretty sure Jenny is a FWSA character (either FW, Sabby, or both). Her skin, though not exactly the same is similar to FWSA Willa. Since many PAs do similar skins with minor alterations, I bet she's one of their models, though I don't know which... So, if some hero wants to help me find her, I'll be eternally thankful (her hair also... looks easy but I'm missing it).

Is it that guy Aaron you're talking about? If so, I think they look similar, but Aaron's brows and goatee are fibermesh and that chracter's above seem to be textured.

Still looking for Autumn, but he hair is Jennifer Hair for Genesis 3 Female(s). I don't think she's G3F, though; doesn't look like and they've not been using G3. Also looks like a FW(and or)SA character, but I'm not so sure as I am with Jenny (could be P3D too... Some guy on Discord hinted , but I think he's wrong).

Also looking for the mom Julia (just for completionism 'cuz she ain't really my type). Sure she's an Emrys's character, but didn't have the time to compare 'em.

EDIT: b.t.w., that girl that works in a clothing store, also goes to the gym, you go on a date with her, and, then, she disappears (and I forget her name) looks like she uses P3D Saskia morphs but I can't guess her skin mats.

Fan-Art and assets thread of the College Kings game. The assets list is a work in progress, so feel free to contribute (mention me or reply to this post; I'll add it here). I don't have any art yet but feel free to post yours here. I've created this thread because I've discovered some characters and wanted to share them, but there are also some missing ones, so I wanted to invite others to contribute. Also, there was no Fan-Art thread of College Kings. The thumbnails below are my renders using a neutral light and zero pose (except for the arms that are down, dialed at -100%); if you want to suggest assets, alternative versions, or make corrections, I suggest you post something neutral like this, using more fanciful poses for fan-art.

Mind that, whatever version you use, the original character is a little cartoonish, so, if you load the full character, you have to zero the dial Head Propagating Scale otherwise the head will be too big; this doesn't happen if you just dial Lanna's head & morph shapes on a G8F.

Thanks to our fella TREXrg, we now have Lauren. Her base model is MSO Dior for skin materials, head, and body (my guess on the latter one; see the note below as always); her eyes are yellowish ones (Dior Eyes07). Again, I think there's more to her than pure Dior, so I'm posting two versions as I did with other characters, and my version was just me playing around... I'm not so sure about it either, and I'm just posting it here in case someone fancies it (since CK doesn't seem to use a lot of morphs and repeat a lot of models, I just played with some of them I know they have and use).
So, the first one is:
Head, body, and materials: pure Dior (100%)
While my mish-mashed version has the same materials plus:
Head: Dior (75%0), P3D Aria (25%), and P3D Saskia (50%)
Body: Dior (75%) and Saskia (75%), plus Emaciated 50% since I think she's skinnier than the original model (base female body morphs from Daz)
(Again, it's just a hunch; if someone wants to correct it or improve it, be my guest)
Hair for both versions: Linda Ponytail Hair with the bangs hidden (though you can use the surfaces tab and set the opacity to 0%, there are two buttons in the properties panel; Summer Scarf Hair when sewing

Got some intel she's this Shan HD for Genesis 8 Female. Gotta check it though. Just put it here so I won't forget it and in case anyone wanna try it. Anyway, if it's not this one, it surely is an Emrys character.

NOTE ABOUT THE BODIES: honestly, I didn't have the time to figure out the bodies, but I'm quite sure it's nothing fancy. They repeat a lot of characters which I think it's a sign they're trying to do things by the book (buying the assets and not using pirate stuff -- not saying everyone who uses a lot of characters are pirates, but pirates are usually more indulgent and use a load of characters because they're free); thus, I think they probably use a combination of the characters above with some tinkering, using common morphs, like the base one and, maybe Zev0's. EDIT: reviewing my characters, I did just some breast adjustments to Chloe and I think I left it for all the characters (again, just something I did in a hurry and it's not verified, but I'm posting it here in case someone fancies it and wants to use it): Breat Pointed (50%), Breast Sag1 (-25%), and Breast Top Curve1 (50%) from Zev0's Breast Control package, and Breast Natural (-25%) from the base one (as above).

I didn't try to figure out any of the minor female characters. I never posed nor rendered any of the boys, but I have some hunches that I'll add here later EDIT: I'm doing a quick list without renders from what I've found (though never rendered them myself) and some suggestions from here:
  • quite obviously, Alex is Lucas 8 with Morley Hair;
  • Mr. Lee is Lee 8, right? Not sure if dialed 100%, but I think the resemblance is obvious and the materials match; quite sure he uses ;
  • again, thanks to our fella TREXrg, Sebastian is with the classic notoriously used by Max from Big Brother (maybe he's Max grown up :p it's G3M but just autofit it and it'll work fine; it's in Michael 7 Pro Bundle);
  • Chris is Silas 8 with (confirmed by Night HAcker);
  • Josh looks like ; hair doesn't seem hard to find, but I'm in a bit of a hurry so I'll try to discover it later;
  • not sure about Imre yet, but his hair, as pointed out by TREXrg, is (despite the name, this hair is not actually a pompadour :p);
  • I think Ryan is (at least, the materials) with (respectively, in M7 Pro Bundle and M8 Pro Bundle);
  • Elijah, Cameron, Adam (the bloke with whom the MC fights for him beating Josh), and a guy called Raul or something like that who's Aubrey's sister's date all uses mats (Michael 8 Pro Bundle); Adam uses a hair everyone owns but many don't know -- Armani (it's in the Genesis 8 Essentials, and is pompadour) --, I think he's only dialed Quinton 60%~70%, and he uses the face2 (with the goatee) and fibermesh brows I couldn't find; the others I still have to check it out.
Check some environments here (I'll add them here later).

I'll also compile outfits the characters use later, but I've been playing CK1 and the girls rotate items from Mega Wardrobe 1 & MEGA Wardrobe 2, and the boys, from G8M Mega Wardrobe. Not many interesting items, though... Just putting 'em here for completionism.

She seems to me to be 100% Dior, I see no difference in her and it appears that the dev went with her default appearance, except some minor changes to her butt and eyebrows. Her eyebrows are not the default that come with Dior. I'm not sure which asset he used for them, and I could probably find the exact one if I spent a couple hours searching, but I ended up settling for eyebrows I found that are almost identical. You can't tell the difference unless you zoom in and look really close so, I stuck with them.

Anyhow, here's my own asset listing and scene subset for anyone who cares.

I loved your Lauren. And your brows are really an upgrade. I hate the Lauren's brows they used in the game. They look unnatural and diverge too much from the others that are painted and look more natural. One thing that annoys me in many games is when devs mix brows from different styles. They're making good fibermesh brows now and even some earlier ones look good (though better mixed with a painted one), but those early Emry's and Jessaii's brows are awful (nothing against the characters, in fact, Jessaii is one of my favorite PAs). Anyway, if someone likes them, that's their problem, but don't mix it. It looks kinda weird seeing one character with one brow style and, later, another one with a completely different style (and I mean style in a deeper sense and not just the shape or grooming; a style in the sense The Girl or Aiko look from a different style than Victoria). Of course, this is not directed at you; I'm just venting. Good job with your Lauren version. I hope to see more of this like you did with BaDIK characters. And nice camel toe! Hehe! I'm crazy about them!

i see another camel enjoyer :p only reason i don't use them on my own models is that the sometime look wierd in the close knees position aldo every pussy/penis have there own problems.

I always use them, but I learned the hard way that you have to create a morph (or, even better, two) so you can control the intensity when you add genitals and/or change positions. It's good to have one morph for no genitals and another one for the genitals you use (it can be either a control morph or a baked morph); the latter one can be complimentary to the former.

Changing topic, did anyone notice this game Jury has many similar characters to CK? I think there's one Chloe-shaped character (P3D Aria) with Nora skin; another one that looks like some hybrid of Chloe and Lauren; a brown girl that looks like that girl we have a date in the first season and then disappears... There may be others that I forgot. And I was taking a look at the code and it's all organized like CK, with full comments and scene headers. Could it be an Undergrad Steven project? Or a project from someone who was previously on the team?

And did anyone have any progress with Jenny and/or Autumn? Couldn't find them yet...

i know but i am lazy with it for a VN it's much work to do and animations with different pussys become also more complex if you want all angles, penises are easier but i normaly use Golden palace and XY for the genitals they are normaly easiest to work with while looking good

I think it's great! And I don't like pure VNs too much (though there are a few freeroams). There's a lot of branching and it reads interestingly. Only for the characters, I wouldn't say it's from CK guys or former guys, but the way the code's organized is a tell... Of course, this is just speculation.

yup it's like that for me when i see fan art useing dforce and rendering one pic for 12 hours what obvious looks really great but is not feesable when the standard VN has 3000-8000 renders only for cover/promo or if someone has the highest end computers(so only the very sucessfull creators) NLT Media flexed that one scene alone had 8000 renders and it took only 2 weeks on the other hand that still does not make a story better but easier to tell

i think the thing that is the most importent aspect of every story are it's charcters and that they feel/look alive and that is also another thing to consider the time the posing takes sometimes still have problems with the hands and with lighting in open arears where hdri's don't cut it or only specific ones

also think that dean harrison looks like a mouso model or her skin atleast and the chef maybe too i think that the hard to find characters are are probably p3d mouso or fred winkler and sabby ones but like some 25%from here to 50% from there,i now not have so much time to look about it so i am not much help for now

Yeah. I've been thinking about that a lot through the years I've been here and also playing with Daz. It's unfeasible to do the art for VNs the same people do fan-art (which, of course, I mean high-quality fan-art). You have to create a fast framework and stick to it.

also think that dean harrison looks like a mouso model or her skin atleast and the chef maybe too i think that the hard to find characters are are probably p3d mouso or fred winkler and sabby ones but like some 25%from here to 50% from there,i now not have so much time to look about it so i am not much help for now
Indeed. Total Mousso. Never tested but, since there's a lot of recycling in this game, I bet is the same one used for Amber.
