I've tested around with quite a few players and most seemed to use qwer or wasd but renpy uses the "a" key by default so currently I'm still learning how to overwrite that.
They way it should work is the jab button protects you from hooks and the hook button from jabs. This might seem odd but since your hooks come from the right and enemy hooks from the left, it just felt a lot better for those who tested it with this inversion.

I really hope you give version 0.3.1 (hotfix) a try. It fixed some of the realism issues and maybe will make this more enjoyable for you. Also made the sex scene optional.

You have no idea what NTR is. Ceesko is right, anyone is screaming NTR for no good reasons these days.
NTR is having your love interest being "stolen" from you. How is the Aubrey situation NTR when she wasn't even with you in the first place ? Even the situation with the ex-girlfriend can't be considered NTR, because she feels bad about it and wants to get back with the MC.
You guys are truly a bunch of crybabies and ruining the potential of good games with your constant lobbying of devs. Complaining about avoidable paths (since the sex scene will be avoidable in the next update now).
I'm baffled by how toxic this forum can be especially with invested devs and I too, like Ceesko, urge UndergradSteve to go with his vision and not let people here change his story too much. After all, beggars can't be chosers.

But this are thinks that happen in college partys if this game trys too be realistic .In a college are young woeman and men their are often dont know what they want ,they try new thinks and some drink A LOT of alcehol, than just make a option to turn off kinks at the start if some cry so much or just play smart and stop your fav love interest from drinking too much or dont be shy around your rival dont let him alone with her and so on.I just hope we play a college game that feels realistic and where we can choose which kind of cheracter we can play.For example lauren she seems like the type off cheracter that maybe wish too be more populare secretly and maybe is easy too be persuaded by other females, she dont seem like a person that would drink a lot of alcehol and that she can take that so as a good boyfriend you would stop her from drinking too much and care about her right? so if you try too go after chloe on the party and other try too get her drunk and you dont stop her from beaing laught all over the campusthe next day for beaing a slut or you are too shy than thats maybe a bad idea but it would be realistic.So if we only take vanilla scenes than we will not ge a realistic game and scenes I get why people hate special kinks but if you want a realistic game we need a lot off different scenes that should be optional but it would help that the world and cheracters would feel more alive and would feel like real humans.

the point is REALISM if you have 8 cheracters that act like lauren but if they are with you she acts like a pornstar in bed than the game would be pretty boring and unrealistic as hell. Ofc you hve sluts, shy girls ,nerds normals women you have all type of humans in a college jesus it helps that the world feels more alive and realistic.

I really appreciate your feedback.
I hope to make a well rounded main roster of girls. This will include options with Aubrey and Emily, but they will not be the sole focus.
I'd love for you to give the game another try in a few updates and see if you enjoy the other girls the game offers.

Geez this is becoming toxic. Would still love to see the dev to stick with his guns and continue his original plan for Aubrey.
This system works fine on the default setting. However the default setting is only optimal if you're left handed. If you customise it so you're working the controls with your dominant hand, the jab and hook buttons get mapped to the opposite ones from what you assigned them.
Another issue is the SMS. Whenever a new one pops up, it doesn't default to the newest message, it goes to the start of the SMS conversation and you have to scroll down. It's starting to get annoying given how much Aubrey messaged you.

i dont see the Aubrey situation as NTR because i have no interest in her, we already seen she just fucks anyone and heard shes fucked half the college, if you think you can have a loving relationship with someone like that good for you but for me i would rather have a girl whos a bit more classy and dont drop their panties for just about anyone
Also the MC dumped his girlfriend for cheating, so why would he do so to the girl he wants Lauren? kind of double standard don't you think - enough said, the Dev did a good job here and added the choice, I'm pleased
