Valid, and where I think it works best is breaking apart well known mainstream stories (SW, HP, Witcher, "Little Red Riding Goods"). Seeing Harry hiding because he crafted a potion that temporarily transformed him into a girl is cathartic. Making him have to fuck a guy to get back to his original shape is even better. The goal is to twist and destroy a known narrative.
Flaunting again my bias because I really like it, this game invested (sucessfully) in a strong original concept and a pretty consistent story, detailed world, etc... I'm no writer, but my designer's instinct says to keep the concept strong and expand on situations without losing the way, or adding too many concurrent themes. That sounds almost serious, sorry...
