So here is a nugget or something to discuss. So we learned a bit more about the magic system, caster seem plentiful. I am interested in seeing some of the martial fighters/styles of the world as well...I mean outside of Eusless. However back to magic, the trial talked about a couple of different types Standard, Blood(specialty), and the Wyrd (feels like a witchcraft or sorcery offshoot).

Cindy seems to be in the line of Standard magic usage, saw a lot of fireballs this time around. Do we think she a fire specialist or was that just what the test happened to be on?

For Lilly we saw her Hexes as work and like Will/Lizzy she has potential for manipulating the Wyrd. Any thoughts on if her eventual(hopeful) Wyrd training somehow crosses with Will's. Will and Lizzy interact with it differently but we do not really know much about it.

I do agree with what Jarren showcased about the risk and am not looking with very optimistic eyes to the problematic raised with the EusticeMoreSharing path. Wouldn't be miffed at all to be proven wrong on that end, I just don't expect to be so...

On the Dorm Master, I guess that's a thread line truly gone and dusted - They haven't slept at the college for months now (passage of time is dealt with really lightly in this VN) so would be too late to pick that up. Plus, now they've got the budget and title required to get their own place. In my opinion, only way to pick that up would be for him to apply and interview for a better position at the new duchess recently acquired manor in town. A little plot stupid for him to not connect the dots and surmise that it is the same girl he humiliated back then, but nothing egregious.

Matter of fact, a party to christen the newly acquired manor would be a nice way to have elf dude show up again

That would actually be pretty interesting way of making him come back. Instead of him applying, she would forcefully put him under her in let's say position of janitor and when MC fly in while Cindy is doing her paper work, he's eating her out under the desk as she ordered him and telling MC "Do you remember our friend from the dorms?" gives some possibilities of reusing him.

If I understand correctly, she might still show up somehow, but not as a teacher

You may have your horn-handlebar driven facefuck sometime in your future!

yay, please! I would even like the possibility of a separate path just for them the protagonist would end up with the hairy girl
While I do not think this will happen outside of fan fic, it would be the type of thing that adds a lot of bloat to the game. It is its own timeline as it diverges wildly from the main routes and would require personality rewrites of the characters involved as they have no real emotional connection to one another.

Merry X-mas everyone. So before here in between family events I am going to drop my own little 'present' into the forum. My biggest reason as to why I feel some do not understand just what they could be asking for with heavy branching involving Cindy. Currently that is the Cindy with Eusless stuff but it will apply to her and other men down the line as it involves one main central ask. 'Please separate the MC and Cindy into individual scenes'.

The above line is not as simple as it seems. Firstly, the narrative POV is not set up for this. It is told from the MCs POV almost exclusively and itself has the issue of alternating between 1st and 2nd person. These two while close to one another use different pronouns such a 'I' and 'We'(1st) vs 'You'(2nd). This could just be a translation issue and not intended. But despite that different both have one things in common. They are meant to put you in the narrator's head and create a stronger connection between the reader and that narrator. 2nd person goes to the length of making You the reader the protagonist. However both narratives suffer a common downside. Bias, the narrator's opinions and feelings can color the story, potentially alienating readers who do not relate to them. This is why 2nd person games like Mass Effect started using the multi dialogue choice option in games, to allow players to better insert their own personality and feelings into the main character.

Ok, so taking that into account, note that outside of a few very quick 'asides' such as the convo between Lady Gwen and Lady Blackheart we only see what the MC sees. When Cindy and the MC part, we do not see what it is that she is doing. If we did so multiple things happen, all of them potentially damaging.

1) We would have to increase render counts, potentially dramatically. In the last update, the entire interaction between Cindy and Eusless (lol ok ok, I have had my fun with that for now!) was seen from the POV of the MC. So no additional renders needed. The Dev then employed the phone/tablet to allow the readers to look in on the two and still keep the narrative POV. Now to exclude the MC in full without using he same methods you would need a narrator POV switch. You would need to additionally render the scene leading up to it(How did they get together), the scene itself, and then maybe a render or two of aftermath as they part(at the least). Most updates have 3-5 major scenes now. So this addition would equate to a about a 20% increase or requires a 20% decrease of other content. Not including the impact on other scenes.

2) The same Bias issues that are present for the MC currently would become present for the new narrator. Let's just say for this purpose it is Cindy. The dev would need to switch narrative styles. 2nd person could not be used at all and 1st person is weak at doing multiple POVs, it can be done, but it is complex and language barriers make it worse. Switching to 3rd would be jarring to some and immersion breaking. Outside of those things, hearing Cindy's thought will absolutely hit some the wrong way, it is just a matter of which group feels the sting. Her thoughts will either confirm a love for the MC, confirm that Eustice is just a convenience, confirm an emotional connection, or confirm an NTR potential through direct or inference(aka vague thoughts that could go either way). One way or another there is going to be a deeper audience split. Which can fine, but also is often toxic and unless it is the intention of the story to induce said drama, it is unproductive.

Currently if going by Cindy's words, then she is completely in love with the MC but is also a slut so she likes sex with others. Soon enough it will be more than just Eustice but the dev may have painted into a corner by not getting her with other men (Not strangers and unnamed NPCs) sooner.

Going to stop with those two. There are others and I could elaborate more on the above, but already long enough. If you want to see the above in action you can look to My New Girlfriend. All of such is at play. The MC has personality traits that are hard to connect with for some. The female LI is wildly popular. The game was planned for multi POV but all of the Female LI scenes have caused divides and arguments of NTR as she displays potential emotional infidelity through submission to others or disregard of her BFs feelings. Shockingly(sarcasm) the 'It is ok because I know he will like it' argument does not carry weight with some due to the above audience bias. The scene also added huge numbers of renders and animations to the update. Causing the dev cycle to increase and this is with the Dev employing help for animation, coloring, and who knows what else. To my knowledge Steve is doing College mostly solo. But even with help that Dev is now splitting his updates into half in order to not make the audience wait as long in between content, but they will be getting fewer scenes with each update. And I repeat, that game had these ideas built into it from the start and is only 6 chapters in with plans to go on for years and years.

It depends on the paying audience. I believe there will be new polls about more content in 2026 i took a look at the developer's comments about netorare (partner swapping) and wife stealing Cindy has the power to be and do whatever she wants. I like the protagonist; I think their relationship since they were young is cute, but I see a good possibility of cheating between them, not just by the main girl, but also by eusticee he would be a good lover in secret Connections can even happen with people who hate each other in real life.

Merry X-mas everyone.
I'm pretty sure I said this at some point I can't actually remember. Maybe I intended to say it, forgot and thought I did. Anyway, my intention is to not go crazy with routes, finish the story then go back and potentially add routes.

When the story is done, with the way the story is structured it would be extremely easy to just slot in whatever I want, basically wherever I want. Every single scene transition that says something like "Days later this happens", I could slot something else in. As someone said, there is actually a decent amount of time passing. Which also make it very easy to just add random scenes.

But yeah, the reason I don't is because it is literally the equivelant of doubling the workload. The same amount of dev time for half the amount of plot progression.

Also the Eustice sharing thing isn't a big deal. It doesn't mean he's going to get an entire route. It gives me a flag as a dev to know the player is willing to see Eustice sharing content, a literal double check. Without going into much detail, Eustice is more interested in Monique and doing whatever else he does then trying to steal Cindy. Cindy is interested in what option you chose, not because she wants more Eustice dick. It's because she wants to know if you want to see her with more Eustice dick.

Cindy loves pleasing the MC by having sex with Eustice, so I like that. Eustice having more substance won't affect anyone. The explanation helped me. Whatever you decide is decided. I just hope he's not left aside for too long because you gave us a great choice to see him on special occasions or more. For those who like him, like me, I'm not the only one in love with the chubby redhead. Another character I want to see between cindy's legs is that guy who chases after a bunch of girls who are already in relationships, the same one who calls himself a ladies' man, a bad boy, I forgot his name, he was after Cindy at the party If she wants to know, then she already has my vote. I want cindy, but eustice's dick

Cool observations. I like that you are taking such into account, even if I disagree on some points. I get you in that Dev should take in feedback from their patreons and supporters. Some say they should not and I find that silly. A good idea can come from anywhere and Devs are inspired all the time. It should not however make anyone do an about face against their own designs.

But back to the basic, you have to be careful how you frame polls and note that poll winners are not always the best things. Take the recent bit, the EusticeMoreSharing option.

If you made a poll asking "How many selected for more sharing with Eustice?" or "Which did you select: More Sharing with Eustice or Eustice only on special occasions?". The poll may not reflect what you are looking to find out. Primary there is an element missing. What do the people selecting 'More sharing with Eustice' actually care about. Eustice or more sharing? We already know that there is a large hunger for Cindy content. Dev had to take her out of polls because of it. So some select that option mainly because there are not other options for Cindy with other men. Aka what does a poll of "For the next Cindy sharing scene would you like to see her with: 'Eustice' or 'New male partner'. Note that an option that you do not like Cindy sharing is not there. So those that ignore that content will not vote at all. Skewing the results/logic. What if the audience was told that the Eustice on special occasions meant more opportunities for new male partners. It goes on and on.

Also what does the voter mean by more sharing. Did you select it because you wanted more swinging scenes with health base couples. Did you want more threesomes of MMF with MC, Cindy, and Eustice. Are you mainly looking for Eustice/Cindy 1v1? If multiple, then which matters to you most and by what margin? Cause as we know NTS lovers never argue about the above lol.

Lastly note, polls to the already paying patreons mainly only pleases them. However it can have a negative effect on attracting new paying supporters and alienates some of the existing ones that continually find themselves in the minority. Which as shown above, they may not actually be a minority. If someone is a patreon, they like the story you have crafted, no need to diverge hard.

Cool deal. You have stated similar but maybe not as direct but my memory is bleh and forums need to hash through the same arguments on a cycle.

If you should ever get the hankering...stories on the adventures of a young Lady Gwen in the era of the god-kings is potentially awesome sauce. Just...you know...saying for a friend. Could also be a setting for NTR for those that love such.

I'm a bit confused then. So either the choice is meaningful or it's not. We already have unavoidable options to share with Eustice. Call them Share route or Non-Share route. These all happen on a single main story path. Now we have a new vague "Hey, are you okay with sharing me equally between you and Eustice?" question.

So if you say 'Yes', that either A: does nothing at all, and you continue to still have options to share her with Eustice when he enters the plot (two paths, sharing or not), or B: creates unique scenes/dialogue that aren't available (a new path).

3 paths by definition is going to increase your workload in some way to continue main plot progression at the same pace.

We always have to take the supporters into account; they're the ones who keep the game alive. The pirates also give cool ideas; everyone has their importance, i don't need to say much; you're not a fortune teller, are you? Hihih, I was even a little scared you managed to describe my thoughts in the poll section. I think like this and would do like this.
In that part, for me, it's a couple swap and threesome, just like that first (mmf) scene with double penetration with Will, cindy - eustice. The only people I see commenting on this are three members one uses a blue emblem, another the Futurama character, and one more I forgot
I agree, you're not wrong, and also, nobody can change the supporters; if they like it, let them have fun.

Will throw in my two cents, as typically to expand further Steve might have to segeway into future plans/scene progressions which Devs are very careful about doing. A couple of ways it could play is:

1) As stated, the A option in which nothing else is added.
2) A small number of additional scenes or renders are added over the course of the story. Nothing that would be frequent or large enough to be it's own route, but it would require this choice to see.
3) Like the Dorm Master choice, it tripped a flag that removed the "sharing vs not sharing" choice from some of the following scenes. Mainly the dorm scene where Cindy dresses as a Maid as I recall you automatically went into share mode for it. You also skipped the lonely housewife scene with the MC. But after than there were no lasting effects thus far. The scenes were already a part of the existing paths.
