Why are my old saves not working? I even tried copy pasting the save folder from the old version into the new one and nothing.

The current version leaked here seems to be from Steam, the previous one was from Patreon which used a different save folder.
Edit: Should be inside this folder in Appdata / Roaming / Renpy: COMS-s-1622122579

Thanks. I figured it out my self earlier. I was just curious as to why it happened.
Also, is that structure universal to all games? As in, will every game have its title be /Renpy/GameName-numbers vs /Renpy/GameName-s--numbers?

Can someone enlighten me is it a harem game or more on monogamy side? (Harem games give you more rewards for going the harem way, whilst monogamy rewards more or equally for choosing one partner)
After finishing chapter i didn't get Lana chapter 4 scene (i suspect because i pursued harem route, correct me if i'm wrong).
Not having the sex scene didn't bother me but potential future consequences of having a harem has.
P.S. I dislike 80-95% of harem games, most of them are immoral because MC is being wishy washy about having multiple partners until it implodes and everyone gets hurt or drama happens. I prefer upfront harems i.e. you show your cards and let the other party decide. Not to mention some people practice it even today, the so called "legal" and moral harem unlike some scumm who have "wifes" in other countries or cities and they don't know about this. (Scumm due to removing the agency from the partner to decide if they want to be involved in this)

Majority are like that some have consequences others remove some sex scenes (like this one).
So it's not so clear cut, i noticed that after not having a scene with Lana and remembering MC having some reservations about cheating on Lana.
Usual run of the mill harems somehow avoid dialogues about cheating or keep relationship vague right up to the ending (to avoid the consequences)

Happy New Year! Yeah, yeah I'm a bit late. Didn't have anything to accompany the post
Anyway, here's a render of Lana to make up for it xD
Just wanted to let you guys know I have began working on the next update. I'm still in the writing phase currently. There is a scene outline I need to compose before I can begin on the script. But before that scene outline, I need to finalize my intentions for the update. So, let's talk about that.
The next update will be Chapter 4 Finale. Uniquely, this is also the finale to Volume 1. For those who have bought the game on Steam, thank you. But also this is important for everyone because it marks the end of the first half of the story.
That is a major milestone for the project and the narrative. Everything points to this update being the biggest, most epic, yet. There has to be twists and turns at every corner, there has to be action, intrigue, romance, sex, everything...
Well, that's easier said than done, and maybe overambitious. Ch4A was already the biggest update yet and that took way too long. You guys have been very patient with me throughout 2025, but I cannot do another 10 month cycle, it comes with too many problems. At some point you're just chasing a quota you cannot hope to catch up because you've fallen behind too many times over months. 1700 renders over 10 months is not good enough, no matter the quality.
What I am trying to say is as I am still figuring out what to do with Chapter 4 Finale, I need to be careful and pick my battles wisely. This update will be setting the stage for Chapter 5/Volume 2. It needs to be gripping enough so people want to play the next volume. It needs to answer at least some of the many questions. It needs to establish a new status quo going into the future. And it needs to progress at least some of the romance with other characters.
I just wanted to share my inner thoughts and struggle with Chapter 4 Finale. Nothing is set in stone at the moment, except a few scenes that has to happen in the update. Everything else I need to figure out priorities that work with reality.
That's all for this post. Sorry for the wall of text. I have to leave the country for a few days next week to visit family, but I'll continue to work on the writing side of things. Once I am back I will post a DevUpdate about my progress. Until then, see ya!

No, that's the dev's choice of naming the renpy project. I guess he used a separate copy of the project when preparing the steam release.

Personally for me , after Grace death , this VN has just become boring. It doesn't help that there is pratically no sound , no music so explosions , shooting , reading , does not feel as appealing as other adult VNs.
Also it's clear who the dev favourite woman is , and i have 0 interest in her , i didn't even finish reading this last update , that is how bored i became of it.
The dev needs a way to add some explosion sounds , shooting sounds and non copyright music to the game.

Why was the steam game version now replaced with the Patreon one? According Koga3 on his mod page it even has one sex scene removed and is maybe an older version, too? (before it was v4.A.6.S.1, now it's v4.A.4).
