No. Later the protagonist finds his old album. The idea was that he could gradually restore memories associated with his mother that he had suppressed for years. Or not, the choice is up to the player.

Nope, no prequel game. There will be flashbacks hinting at things that happened way back when.
Don't play this though, there's extremely little content, you'll be left unsatisfied and the game will never be continued.

Not everyone is interested in anal and its not needed here at all.
