For some reason it doesn't read my previous save, is it normal? Do I have to re-do the whole story up until the Massage part?

Bc for me worked with the last saved game, but I started anew.

I notice the developer uses the terms "episode" and "season" interchangeably. How long is the game at Ep / Season 2 currently? Does it have at least like 5 hours worth of normal reading content?
