Using old save files should work. If you played 0.8 I'd recommend using a save file in which May's shame is around 42 though.

Should I start over? I have an hour or two of playtime in 0.8 and May's shame is around 20.

So just finding this game and checking it out. Forgive me if this has already been asked but I couldn't find anything from looking through several pages, but the main page describes a step family. I tried checking the lewd patcher list for a mod that might have removed that but don't see anything there either. I don't suppose anyone has such a patch or knows of a way to remove it in game?

There is none at the moment. There's a slight chance I might make that optional, but it's a lot of work. Not all of them are step family btw.

I haven't played through the game so I don't want to skip anything using one of the provided savefiles, sorry. I guess I'll take a chance and use my own save. Would you happen to know what might break if I used my own?

Some people have reported problems with performance, but seems to run fine for most people. My own PC is 5 years old and runs this without any problems. Which previous version did you use before? You could try disable the cars under the settings item, but that should only effect one map. It could be that one of your cpu core is maxed out.

I use the 0.8 with out any problem.... The only thing I do, I make my PC in win10.... But another game in RPG maker MV ace wotk very well..... If my only solution is to but a 1500$ for a new PC .... I prefere dont play with your Game.... Optimise your game or make it With a another RPG Maker version.....

I appreciate the reply. And obviously my opinion is only one so I don't expect any great effort out of it, but I'm just putting it out there anyway. lol. I would personally love if one existed. Like, the game sounds awesome to me otherwise and that's the only real turn off to me about it. And they're not all step, but unfortunately all the wrong ones for me are. haha. I'm still going to give your game a try though because it seems fun. I was just hoping there might have been a fan made mod for it or something is all.

Any idea why DrWeb would suddenly start recognizing the .exe as Trojan.Siggen8? I kept playing for a while, then on a restart it began complaining.

@Crazybat There is a nasty bug, that if you havent cought up with the assisting teacher events on an old save, the first time you go down the stairs after classes, an endless loop of messages about the event starts. Just pick your own save4 and try go to uni to test it out!

got a message from the guy at the gym, telling he needed my help. When I try to get into the gym tho it tells "I don't want to go in I hate the gym". What's going on?

So..the new janitor event doesnt start.. 34 shame, seen all the previous. I don't get the option to leave it unlocked. I will max lust again and use the old clothes and see if that's it. if it is, that's one big oversight.
Edit: it was indeed the issue. @Crazybat Might wanna include the new outfit in this new janitor event. Since you are already supposed to be wearing it when the janitor event unlocks at 36. The 4th teaching assistant quest also didn't start at 34, it started at 36, so I got that earlier than intended according to the text file in the folder. Just things you should know for next update i guess.

@tathar86 The bug I'm describing is the same after I have re-downloaded the game from Mega and loaded save 4 as a test. Save 5 works, all other saves including my own gets trapped in the loop.

At 0.7 i was the one who sayed, maybe the cars causes the FPS problem. But it was not the cars, it was the day/night cyclus (0.9. runs fine, no FPS drop)
In some other RPGM Games, daytime runs fine, nighttime runs on 1 FPS
