1. Game Development Cycle
As a player, do you prefer completed games or the ones with progressive content updates?

It depends more on you than your audience.
Why are you doing a game? I bet you want to monetize it. Sadly it is not that easy get money doing adult games, the "market" is pretty much saturated.
I bet that everybody prefers a completed game, but if you want an income through donations (patreon and such) you should think about a modular game whose development can be influenced by the audience, with survey, suggestion and such. It builds audience loyalty to your game and make your audience feels as it is part of the project.

2. Game Progression
What kind of content progression captivates you?
(a) Linear story with static dialogue script
(b) Linear story with branching dialogue tree and multiple endings
(c) Open-world type content where player can choose multiple side quests but main story is either (a) or (b)
(d) Complete sandbox where the game world is static and player chooses, how to make their own story

B, but only for one reason: open-world and pure sandbox are really hard to make, usually they never become as good as the developer thought at beginning.

3. Player management system
Do people like games with heavy stat/inventory/time management systems or no management at all? Or, what is an acceptable balance between the two?
(Basically I want to know if people play adult games simply to relieve themselves, or are they engaged in it for something more)

Can you build a nice game?
What do you want to do? An immersive interactive story?
A satisfying combat game with some erotic parts?
It is up to you, but you should think what you want to achieve, an heavy gameplay can break immersion and the erotic component of the game, you should think well about the pacing of everything.

4. Graphic style
Does anime or 3d graphics make a huge impact on whether people will play your game?

I think that the preference between styles of 2d are more divisive than the preference between 2d and 3d.
Consider one thing about anime: it is full of game with that style, mostly coming from Japan. Do you think you can compete with that amount of games? I suggest you, if you want to go with 2d arts, to find a good artist with an unique style, it can be inspired by anime style, but it has to have its own personality.
By the way average 3d art due the good assets and the good software that anybody can use, is usually more appealing than an average 2d art that requires a really skilled artist.
Check which game are the most liked, but consider that it doesn't represent exactly an audience willing to pay.

instead you can see which game are the most supported on patreon, and you can notice that the two top rankings doesn't match. Sure, there are similarities, but in the patreon ranking you can see how many games are pretty much unique and take different audiences.

1) Progressive updates. I porn game doesn't necessarily have to be completed to be enjoyable and I'm looking forward to new content.
2) There was not, there is not and there will never be a porn game, that is remotely sandbox like. The choice between choices and a well written story is a bit difficult however. Personally I'd prefer a well written linear story with the fetishes I like over a mess of choices, but on the other hand, I still prefer a mess of choices that lead to fetishes I like to well written story without them. Basically I think, if a developer wants to appeal to a wider audience, he needs to give them at least some level of choice.
3) I really depends on how well it is done. If the character management would be so good, that it makes the game worth of playing as a game, not merely interactive porn, I'd look forward to it. On the other hand, I don't think this is very realistic. In most cases, therefore I think I can do without.
4) I like both 2D and 3D art, as long as the proportions are humanly possibly. I don't like random photos from the internet however.

1) I'm alright with either, really. If the dev needs to take more time because of family or personal issues, I can wait. I just want them to communicate that to their community and not just have a prolonged period of silence only to release a bugfix version of their game, not naming anything/one in particular.

2) B, C, or D. As someone who basically grew up with both JRPGs and VNs, I'm very much acclimated to linear progression, although I do like having a possible bad ending as it causes me to think (just a bit more) about the choices that I'm making. Also, I know that lots of people don't like sandbox since it just feels like a cop-out for not having much content, but I believe that as long as that content is good, I'm okay with sandbox. Even if that content is just repeated over and over again (slight variations or no), I'd be okay with it.

3) A long time ago, I would've immediately answered no management. However, thanks to games like The Last Sovereign and Harem Collector, I usually go through game with a bit more of a fine comb now. Basically, I'm just ripping off that one quote from John Cormack now...

4) Personally,I prefer anime graphics (or animu, if you like to tease what you love), but I'm not entirely turned off by 3D Models, though I'm usually pretty choosy, as most of the games that I've played are usually with something like Honey Select or Koikatsu!-esque graphics. Though I have played some games where the Honey Select graphics weren't all that great to me, and I just stuck around for either the story or because it dealt with a fetish I enjoyed.

Hope this helps somehow!

Progressive content, with a stable pace, predictable deliveries are the best for me. Depend if you already have some background and intend to make a game to stand out, the first version should have enough content to make users addicted. But if you intend to learn, I think that you should deliver the first version sooner as possible, you will probably have the remake everything again, based on the first impressions.

Dating Ariane is my best reference, multiple choices with completely distinct outcomes, you play over and over, and still want to get the better outcomes. But the truth is every day I want to play a different style, there are great examples for each option. From XXX Civilization that is pure strategy, adventures like Last Sovereign, renpy novels like Acting Lessons, Big Brother... I even like mini-games like the Brawler on Being a DIK. And a lot of others in all possible styles.

I like games where you build stats, but I prefer the basic int/str/charm like on Sim Girls, too complex systems should always have a outstanding reward to pay the effort, usually they fail on this. Also it shouldn't be extremely hard that you even forget about the sex stuff. I remember that the first versions of Man of the House (another great game) was almost impossible to balance energy, higieny, time, money... at some point I simply give up to pursue the sex events. Fortunately the developer changed the system in the further versions.

4. Graphic style

Again, every they are two different resources sometimes I want one more than the other. Some 3D models can create arousal just standing still, a fluid animation can be more than enough to make you turned on. Anime characters usually turn you on by the context, the level of naughtinesson the text, sometimes the sounds, the way that the story evolves... I know that there are some very hot cartoons around, but also there some very grotesque, seemed to be made on MS Paint in a short time, however the way that the story is revealed... can work nice too.
I suggest to new creators to make a reflection: if you have a great story, cartoons can be the best option; if you are not sure, 3D models is a safer option.
