I just updated it Together with S2. Here we go agane.Hold up, Season 1 says 1 Day ago. Then Yes got that one in the OP. I updated both. Now I wonder if Season 2 is the same tho.

That is the same version. I've just tried it.
Loaded save from before the end of chapter 9 and it created a save with which I could start chapter 10.
You have to make sure season 1 is completely unmodded.
But the save you load can actually be from a modded version.
You just need the vanilla version to create the persistent save for season 2.

Yeah it is. I added BOTH version when I updated the thread earlier. As Season 1 says 1 Day ago I am sure that one is correct. But Season 2 says 3 hours, not so sure on that one will compare SHA-265s.
Phew, Checksum's confirm Season 2 are also the same files. hitman2511 don't scare me like that again

Haven't actually tried since i will replaying from start, but as long as you finished ch 9 on a vanilla save it should work (having a manual save besides the one the dev mentions wont hurt tho).

So just to clarify, make a clean version of Ch.9, load whatever your last save was from whatever modded version you played with.
Presuming it loads clean, save again and finish the chapter to create whatever persistent file is being created, then start S2?

What about android? Do we need to transfer the persistent file to the season 2 manually for Android?

I went ahead and downloaded both seasons on Itch.io, newest season 1 update, and it worked for me. It will say it is exported or w/e after the plane scene.
Just letting people know if they are reading lol

I'll just say that animation with Cia was one of the best/smoothest I saw in VN, and I'm taking into consideration quite a lot of them. So hats off, great work!
Genuinely not a good enough AVN to be worth the fucking around to get chapter 10 to work, good luck on your endeavours. But seriously, every other dev on the planet can figure this shit out before release apart from you, like what the fuck are you doing?
To get it working, you need to play it without the mod
you need to redownload a fresh copy of season 1 chapter 9, start a new game, play until you finish chapter 9
download season 2 chapter 10, start the game and click new game (do not load a saved game), it will pick up from there.

What do you mean? Mods break on updates 99.99% of the time. S1 got a revision, mods are going to look for images and text that aren't there anymore and throw errors. At least Sancho dropped a save fixer to deal with that problem on his mods.

No they dont. Sometimes they do break saves, but its the minority
And i have NEVER encountered a game that needed a clean save without mods to start a Chapter/Season/Split 2. EVER
A save won't work, it will just bring you an error
I think you need the persistent file
Here's mine with my chapter 9 save, not sure it will work, as it for chapter 10
I've also included 2 saves from chapter 10, 1-when she asks you to change your name and 2-the end of chapter 10
make sure to replace the files in both the app/renpy folder and game/save folder
just in case it doesn't work

You dont need to start a new game ... i just loaded my save where i left of ( 1 screen before the ending of chapter 9 ) and clicked in my mouse to go to next scene , then my game auto saved. I closed the game and openned the S2 CH10 and played.
I actualy just finished doing 2 runs on my saves .
Also dev , could you please give us the option to rename the save files ? Because i would like to keep track of what saves i have , since seems a few choices branchs happened in this .
Since i decided to post here ...chapter 10 was fun , you said was bigger than ch9 , that was true , but also short to be honest , didnt took me 30min of reading and im not a fast reader , but im not complaining...just a observation about the matter .
Overall i liked , i dont know , i dont have much deep thoughts about it , theres a thing i dont understand about Nael , but is whatever .
Well lets wait and see what is coming next ...
