It's established that the bond is capable of selectively wiping memories. Also that on the power scale of things, the bond is weak compared to Nael, so weak it couldn't affect her even if she wanted it to. So it stands to reason that even if Noel or any other dark one did happen to notice something suspicious about her she could simply wipe that memory from their mind. Probably wouldn't be difficult at all for her to do.
We do know she can shroud memories. She does that to the MC after the fight with Az to prevent other dark ones from learning anything about herself or Noel. So, it's possible.

One thing I never touched on is why I think Nael might be secretly hiding much better perception than she lets on.

Clearly this is a lot of conjecture on my part but I find this story compelling enough that I ruminate on these things and am curious to see what others think.

My thoughts to why Nael is thought of as having poor perception is that she fears what she will see. Being the Aspect of Fear, a very destructive and powerful emotion, she can easily go out of control if she detects something to those she cares about. She created Noel and gave her all of her positive traits, but also tried to remove her reason to fear by giving Noel her ability to love and care. Nael, did not completely succeed as she obviously maintains some aspects of love and care, but she still tries to control and mute them by simply not using her perception. If she does not see or hear someone she cares about in pain, she can't respond. This is why at the end of last episode she finally gave in and "did something she hates doing, uses her perception" to locate Gabe. She still feels for Gabe and missed him, so let herself find him, only to realize he was in trouble. Yes, Nael is manipulating things, but she is also responding to situations emotionally to a degree. She is trying to use those situations to achieve an objective, to bring Noel and MC together among other things, but it is apparent by her actions that she is not completely in control of the entire narrative... which is why she had to use her perception to find Gabe. Ultimately, Nael's fear is likely about being unable to control everything, including herself.

knowing it'd result in her being confined
And as we saw later, she certainly was only confined when she allowed it. Been a while since I played and so I don't recall the exact timeline, but is the gab bad end where Nael ends the universe also during her "confinement" or was that not at the same time?
Honestly can't recall...
I think her having poor perception is deliberate misinfo. Your enemies are more likely to make mistakes and let slip plans they want kept secret if they think you're blind and deaf (well at least blind and deaf for a near godlike being). But for that to work she really has to sell it. Meaning decieving her allies, not just her foes, and keeping the act up as long as possible.
Not too sure about this. I think she just genuinely rarely focuses because of her dislike for it, as stated at the end of Ch10. Others might have just been presumptuous like: "Oh she doesn't sense that? Must be too small for her to notice..." And Nael just took that as it is and let everyone presume away, knowing she in fact could if she just wanted to. I have the impression she would not correct even allies on that also simply because she did not care to.
But I agree that there might be enemies that require her planning something out, we simply have yet to meet them. Kinda curious on what they could be. The angels perhaps? We will see I guess. I for one kind of want to see that one angel again and hope there is more to her kind. Her presence hints at so much fun stuff and lore we may still get to discover, so help me berkili. I hope this story continues for a good while still

Nael definitely has some plan for the MC and Noel, that much is abundently clear. It's obvious that Nael is doing what she"s doing to make Noel stronger. That is evidenced by the scene between Noel and Nael when they discuss Amy and Nael says Noel has to grow more and also the scene where Sam helps Gabe and Nael find ferel Noel and the narrator said that Noel had caught up to her sister. As for Nael hiding her abilities, while it is possible, I find it unlikely. If you look at the final scene in the final chapter, when focusing her senses she really doesn't get that much info. She knows Gabe is scared, she knows the room layout, and who is in it. Nowhere does it say that she learned where Gabe is located. It does say she learned "everything she needed to know" but it's not clear what that means. It could mean she knows everything about the situation including Gabes location or it could mean that she knows Gabe is in trouble which is really all Nael needs to know in order to act. My preference is the latter because if Nael can't find Gabe, that could mean a MC/Nael team up rescue mission. There is a bit of evidence that could suggest the MC and Nael team up again in the future which is why I believe this is a possibility. After the fight with Three, the MC said "this is the first time I noticed that the connection to Nael changed me". This could be allude to a future connection to Nael because he hasnt noticed or mentioned it since as far as I can remember.

All that being said, I do find another line very interesting and I would like to hear your thoughts. When the MC and company meet Nael in the last chapter it discusses Gabe's current situation and says "Even today, I still don't know whether Nael knew back then what was happening to Gabe. But if she had known, she certainty hadn't known the extent to which Gabe would suffer over the next few days. Or so I think.... I am not sure, this Nael will forever remain a mystery to me.". This is spoken as the narrator and I keep wondering what he means by "this Nael". It seems like he knows different versions of her and it has my mind racing with theories. What do you guys think?

To me it reads as if the narrator is telling the story from the far future. Perhaps in his time Nael is completely different. And "this Nael will forever remain a mystery to me." might simply be referring to the fact that he can't turn back time to ask our present day Nael what was going through her mind during this period.

That's certaintly a possibility. I have also considered that the MC could be the one Nael is speaking with when you get the bad end where Gabe is killed by Zero and Nael remakes the world. Before she begins creation, she speaks with some unknown person and that unknown person would undoubtedly know every verson of Nael because he is there every time they restart. That would also explain why Nael doesn't care if the MC dies because she knows he will be back.

I agree with this take, imo it simply annoys her and is kinda beneath her.

And she doesnt give a fuck AT ALL about pride or anything similar to that, it means nothing to her. The Dark ones being overly submissive to her just annoys her, this is all meaningless bullshit for her.

Its shown too during the part where the MC is disconnected from Noel, Nael asks the MC for help and the player can chose to make her "beg for it", Nael even goes down on her knees and begs for it and she does this simply because it doesnt matter at all to her.

She doesnt give a fuck how others perceive her, she could simply snap her fingers and they would stop existing.

Boasting is foregein to her, she doesnt care how powerful other entitys/people think she is if its not related to her goals.

Hell yeah, this game has developed pretty good. I hoped it would be just a matter of Chapter, but this turned out to be a gem at the end. I like the story, i like the charakters, especially Gab is really a good fckn bro. Im not too fond of the MC, hes lacking charisma, but its fine as the story is more something like a drama/tragedy. The story itself is written pretty presistent, i like that. The animations in the end are some eyecandy, so much work were putten in these.

Overall, i really enjoyed the game, hope to see more in the future. Thanks to Berkili and to all the other that took part in this <3

I've only played into chatper 3, so maybe this improves but I really wish the dev would stop using black screens with "..." for so many minor scene changes.

Like, something as simple as a character standing up will get 3 frames of black "...", and it feels so janky, like images are missing or something, or the game stopped responding because you have to click multiple times for the screen to change.

Minor thing for sure, but it just seems totally extraneous to me.

Info
Hey everyone,

I wanted to clear up some confusion regarding my recent animator situation.

Unfortunately, the animator I had been working with had to step away due to health issues. If things improve, he might return in the future, but for now, nothing is certain.

Since I’ve received several messages asking whether this animator with health problems is Atemsiel (who has done animations for me before), I want to clarify: No, it’s not Atemsiel. He created the Noel animation in Chapter 9. The animator currently on break—the one with whom I had planned a longer collaboration—was responsible for the Cia and Amy animation in Chapter 10.

As for Atemsiel, the updates in his Discord server summarize everything well. For those who aren’t in his server: Atem is "MIA" for me too, that's all i can say.

The Search for a New Animator
With my animator stepping away, I started looking for a replacement but ran into several challenges. Most skilled animators were either fully booked or already committed to other projects. When I did find available artists, the timelines didn’t match my development cycle, or their prices were way beyond what I can afford with my current Patreon income.

That said, I’ve found a short-term solution for now.

I’ve found an animator! Well… more like I’ve found one again. Unfortunately, I haven’t found anyone new yet. But after whining so much in Discord DMs to one of my old animators, he finally took pity on me and agreed to do my animation. (Although, let’s be honest, it was probably less about pity and more about the much bigger sum I offered him this time.)

So, to make it official—Gary, the dev of Realm Invader who made the Clara x MC scene in Chapter 10, will also be creating an animation for Chapter 11. While I know he has his own game to work on and this is just a temporary solution, but thanks to Gary's help i have at least more time to find a new animator
