I rather wait for official release. Any leakage in most cases hurts the dev.

yepo thats why im not leaking it this is my favorite game out of all renpy games..only thing that sucksw is i dont have my save or its not showing up...i cloned hard drives then 1 got corrupted ugh lol trying to find it so i dont have to skip through all the chapters to finally get to 11.5 to 12

If you check that user messages you get it why. I also agree with you but that user kept their word, they said they would do it, and they kind of have a point of this being a pirate site where games are leaked but it is always better to wait a few days so it doesn't hurt the game development so much.
I'm not taking sides also, I have no deep knowledge on each one reasons but yeah it is sad this "grudges" happen. I'm a pirate since I have no budget for this games, if I had I would buy/support some but I also don't mind to wait for public releases, I never lack games to play either way.

It's a shame that it got leaked this early... But what does waiting till public release accomplish? Also, won't the people genuinely who want to support on patreon support irrespective of whether it gets leaked or not?

English is also not my first language, but that's beside the point, and I am not trying to discriminate based on proficiency in English here. I am, however, not entertained by the idea of asking such a question "Is it bad to lose power?" to begin with.
The idea of power, in politics and political theory, is generally defined as the ability to influence or direct others. Whether by hard means, such as violence and the implication of it, or softer means, such as cultural or otherwise less implicit forms like institutions. Considering the person asking the question is a companion, a being by nature of his pact to the dark ones is more powerful than any ordinary person through the possession of unnatural abilities, meaning he is much better at coercion, it is doublly absurd to even contemplating losing power to begin with.
You might argue that this is metagaming. Even from an in-game perspective, I am unconvinced that anyone would not appreciate the acumulation of power, especially among the companions. To willingly give up power is suicide in a world of hunter and the hunted. Therefore, as a logical conclusion, a companion should always seek power. I could also argue that the person receiving the question occupies a crucial position in a huge organization, asking such a question is foolish at best.
Regardless whether or not English is one's first language, a question, like "Is it bad to lose power?" where one directly benefits from more power should never be raised in the first place. Nevertheless, I should apologize for my language in the first place, and I won't argue with anyone who prefers otherwise.

Not necessarily. Before it was abandoned by the dev for real life issues, the dev for Stray Incubus showed that he made a good amount of money from people who subbed to a higher tier to get the game when it released, and then cancelled or switched to a lower tier the month after. Since he relied on the money from the game, he was close to having to abandon it sooner because leaks were shrinking those release peaks. That being said... a release peak once or twice a year doesn't seem a big as maintaining month-to-month patrons. But I've been wrong before..
It's probably different with each dev/game/audience. Unfortunately/fortunately, pirating will always be here. If you want a game to continue, it's really up to all of us to show support so it does. Otherwise, I'll keep having to cross out names in my signature...
Literally every single game i support sees a huge uptick of patreons when there people subscribe or increase patreon tier for the release month and it goes back down the very next month with people unsubscribing and/or going down tiers. Some might stick around but talk to most devs who have been doing this for some time and you will see them saying the same thing. The spirit of funding a product using sites like patreon is to support the active development of something you like. But how some people actually treat it is a different matter altogether. From what I have seen there is a significant number of people that treat getting updates like a one time purchase of a product.
But this is a pirate website and people are going to leak stuff here. There is no viable way of preventing that from happening. Even if this website suddenly enforced a no piracy rule, it would be leaked elsewhere. Sucks for the dev but it is what it is.
