Yes, having progressing stuff hidden in the horrible Deb menu was a bad choice for the game.
You need to take over the Sales departement. If you didn't know then here is what you need to take over. HR gives Culture, Finance gives Spreadsheets, Marketing gives Brand/Branding, Research gives Patents and Sales gives Revenue

I basically have to start over but I can take another stab at it. It'll take a bit because this game is not exactly built with modding in mind, granted I'm just a random idiot without a background in software so there's probably better ways to go about it than what I'm doing. I'll probably kick the cheats up another notch though, I hate the waiting and resource management in this game. Why the fuck do I need 5000 energy and 3 billion dollars just to talk to some guy in Dubai?

If it took a lot of resources to get a foot in the door with the leader it would make sense but as it is the energy costs for simple conversations and actions in the late game increase in ways that make no sense and just drag things out for the sake of dragging things out.

Hope you can get to it. I get why they made it more of a game, but having a lot of random events is a bit annoying. Also wouldn't mind having scenes unlocked/repeatable too, since it takes a lot to get to the point of seeing things again.
Huh, this also works with AMD as well. I have no idea why it's broken in this version after 2.0.

I've seen so many entries where people are struggling to get into this game, even some who are used to the Selectacorp universe.
I'm on V 2.1.1 which ironically claims to be "final" (so wtf happened when they released V 1.0? Read on).
I don't know what other versions people were on when they were asking things like if there were video clips, etc, because there are very many.
My one piece of advice (and also my biggest complaint) is, no matter how many times you seem to repeat the same boring grindy sequence, you MUST read the dialogue carefully because it will sometimes suddenly change and anyone doing a "I'm totally bored with this" click through will miss a vital moment that can lock out whole areas of the game.
The entire game seems full of these moments and it seems to be you can't do some things until a certain person is released but in releasing them you may have locked another pathway you haven't even reached yet. I'm not convinced the devs have actually checked the logic of these pathways - hence we're now on V 2.1.1 of a "finished" game.
On the plus side this doesn't have the usual limit to the number of days - on the downside that just means you can simply click "Downtime" until you have enough Ego and/or Funds as there seems to be no penalty.
A great pity. The removal of the time constraint should really enable us to fully explore the game in a way we can't with their other titles, but in my opionion they shouldn't let you remove anyone from their posts until their involvement in other lines of the plot have been fulfilled.

I completely agree. At the start of the game, you could see the Ego cost had a logic to it. To do certain activities, to ask for favours, meant you spent Ego, which was more than Energy. The more demeaning the task, the more Ego it would cost. Towards mid to late, the game has no direction, content just gets piled on and costs are arbitrary.
No, you need to give some women and you need to release some women from the game to progress. And if you release some too early, you might stop your progress completely. It's a shit-show.
I agree so much with this. I hate how there is so much shitty dialogue but if you click through it and miss the thing they said at the NOTE screen/screens, you could end up not knowing what you missed. For example I know the Prometheus guy asks for a girl but I missed her name so I just ended up paying him the whole amount. Don't even know who it was or if it was added in the game or not. Some other things were never added to the game. For example breaking Allison Riordan. In the end I used cheat engine to take her pride to 0 but that does nothing. You have to eliminate her from the game one way or another or you can't progress. The game gets worse and worse the more it goes on with gameplay and content. I keep getting hooked up on it and was fooled to give it another try because I saw the finished tag. There is nothing finished about this game. This will be my last painful time I try this, at Dubai right now, not sure if/what's next but once I finish with the content I am deleting it and never checking this thread again to see if any updates appear.

Well, anyway. Now I think that there are no more missed interactions, but I'm still missing 3 achievements somehow
My Debbie is pregnant, but there are no more interactions left in the save file. Oh well, I think I'm done with the game this time.
Here's full save if anyone needs it.
In my opinion, Selectacorp made 2 decent games: this one and exec2secs. Wish the engine they picked didn't suck nuts, these games would be so much better (and easier to fix) in Renpy...
