Agreed. In his first version he also did the MC from bokudaka iirc.

To be fair though, he did say this even way back then that he can't draw.

This game is excellent so far, the writing and pacing are great, and I find myself caring about the characters. Just the way it's going about telling the story, and the depth of the characters, will make the eventual NTR all the more agonizingly exciting. I also find myself hoping there will be a happy ending to the story. That all the corruption, pleasure, and heartbreak will lead to growth and happiness, even if the main relationships are morphed or fractured.

Yep, those in the 348NTR series are nice.

The entirety of the Madonna 私の自慢の嫁ちゃんを晒します series is quite solid, and perhaps the best pure NTS overall (JUL-724, JUL-838, JUL-887, JUQ-782*, JUQ-813, JUQ-919*, JUQ-967, JUR-162, JUR-187, JUR-238, JUR-341, JUR-341*, the ones with the * being my personal favorites).

The DDH series is a bit wonky, but I still really liked DDH-136 and DDH-140.

Notable standalones: DLDSS-034, MVSD-388, 476MLA-087.

And assorted others I have in my JAV folder that I think are just okayish: 390JAC-167, BOBB-356, DDH-099, DDH-145, DLDSS-231, IPZ-449, JUQ-772, KSBJ-252, NSPS-496, NSPS-678, SDNM-010, SSNI-423, TBTB-106, TEM-083, WPE-022, START-199.

And that's my collection. There could very well be more JAV out there that's NTS that I haven't found. They tend to not tag them with NTS. Even Madonna's series, the most prolific pure NTS one, doesn't say netorase anywhere. It's unfortunate.

Though it's not really a deal breaker for me tbh. I could care less if it was AI or retraced. I'm here to fap.

What made me skeptical earlier was I there's barely any content since he showed mostly just the character creator. But I'm less skeptical now since he actually showed story footage albeit quite short. but good to know its there.

I would assume that he just uses the AI to inpaint the difference faces, or just cuts faces from different characters. I see the background art is also from the anim VN too I think.

This isn't an issue, I think the main issue is scenes ... will he just reuse the Anim scenes? Because that will significantly hinder what can be done.

i mean i'd still play it, and i agree that intellectual property is fake and gay, but straight up ripping a sprite out of another game kinda just shows you're a bit of a hack. again -- don't care that much. it's a porn game, not fine art, and i do wish him the best with the game, i just think this was certainly not a Positive Aspect of the game so far.

it's an improvement for sure, probably not by a great quantity but it's definitely an improvement

yeah tbh I agree that this is more of an issue than simply recycling sprites from another game. if he CANNOT draw sprites for a uniquely designed heroine, then he is most likely NOT drawing new scenes. I'd guess probably AI is gonna be used for CG.
