Huh, interesting. Bimbofication to me means flat out butt-ugly. Literally never found something that was considered 'bimbofication' to be remotely attractive. Gigantic oversized breasts, caked on makeup, bleached hair, overly (poorly) tanned skin, and giant piercings (and spade tattoos and all that crud) are all hallmarks of bimbofication in games. Bimbofication isn't meant to be self-improvement - it's meant to be self-DEGREDATION. Objectification. Aka a descent into being a sex toy. According to Urban Dictionary it's: "The process of transforming into an airheaded slut, perfectly happy to be used and degraded." (which of course, take with a grain of salt lol)Personally, I make a distinction between mind break and bimbofication. Bimbofication just means someone altering their physical features to be more sexually appealing, it doesn't (or shouldn't) be a reflection of the character getting blackmailed or corrupted. e.g a character that increases their chest size because the husband/bf likes it, or a character that used to be insecure about their chest size instead gains the confidence to make them bigger etc.
Well, that's at least how it's presented in most games. It's a perfectly good kink like any other, some people will like it and others won't, but it's pretty far from NTS. I also don't link it to mind-break, those two are just commonly found together. You can have one or the other. (And i'm sure that IRL it's not nearly as exaggerated as it is in fictional games.... then again, the gyaru sub-culture is very much representative of it)
