Been meaning to talk on here for a while, only got around to making an account recently.
First of all, just wanna say how much I adore this game! I only found out about it early last year and have been eagerly following along with development, I'm really enjoying what this game is shaping up to be.

A question for DevTrav, this is something that's been on my mind for a while - Will sounds be added to the animated scenes of other characters? So far only Mara's animated reward has sounds, and I feel like some of the other scenes could really benefit from getting audio treatment.

Yes, I want to add sounds to all the scenes eventually.

I agree that adding more sound to scenes would make them way better.

The main issue is I don't think I'm very good at it and would need to find someone to bring on that can do it better. Right now the game is a two person team, an artist and myself. So it can be a bit of hard balancing act. All time spent trying to add one feature is time not adding new characters or progressing the story.

But it is something I would like to add more of!

Maybe it's just me, but the game feels less smooth, even with the settings in low it feels choppy, and it didn't feel like that in 0.16 (last time I played)

It does feel choppy af. Unfortunately, I didn't think to save the older versions to compare them. I don't think there is a fix. I tried to force vsync from the nvidia control panel because I remember it did help with another game in the past, but it didn't do anything for this one.

Joyce has not been added back in yet.

The figures in the dumpster are more or less placeholders and a way to see the rewards from the older versions of the game. You can't talk to them and they don't have a entry in the cosplayer compendium. Think of it like the stickers from the gatcha in the old version of the game.

Joyce is one of my favorites and we have plans to add her with a full story around when Carmen comes out. I wouldn't do her that dirty lol.

Not sure what would be causing that, I haven't changed anything behind the hood that would cause a major performance change. On all my systems it is running just fine. Could you tell me what kind of setup you are running and which version you are playing, like the .exe or swf version.

A few quick things to make sure of:

Whitelist the game in any antivirus software you have. The game saves whenever you enter a room which some antivirus software will block and cause issues, such as not being able to interact with any object in the room.

If you right click and hit settings make sure Enable hardware acceleration is turned on. This lets Flash use your graphics card if it is struggling to run the game with just your CPU.


And to make sure the save function works properly make sure the "Allow local storage option" is set to ALLOW.
